Although these are a good and fun product they DO NOT fit presta valves, which are the smaller valves on road bike tires.
This may be a great idea for bicycles, but i got it for my car and in no less than a week i got pulled over and was told to take them off"immediatly" before i could proceed or i would get a ticket as they put it.They said it was a "distraction" to other drvers(uh..like cell phones, eating and driving and other drivers aren't?).So the moral of the story is guess you have to know if they are legal to begin with.I also found them to be a bit flimsy in ci=onstruction so don;t really know how long they would have lasted anyway..Like another person said trying to put back together was kinda hard.
I got this valve cap light, I install in my bicycle, it is so cool, easy to install and patterns changeable, the valve cap is aluminum quality, light is so bright in the night. all of my friends are like it. i find it here, i will buy some pairs for my friends...Cooolllllllllll!!!!!!
Ok where do we start? 1st i noticed the platic construction. I have other valve lights that are much more durable and used quality parts to construct them at half the cost. I wanted this one because of the cool pics with all the designs (nice concept). 2nd this obviously has to come apart to install batteries and thats when i was blown away by the fact that they used platic on the piece that actually connects to the valve stem. At first glance it looks like metal, well it's not. It's painted to look like chrome and feels flimsy/light in weight. Once you take it apart to install batteries, it's hard to get it back to gether without feeling like your going to break it with one wrong twist. This might be ok for someone just commuting to and from....but not constructed well enough for mountain biking or kids hitting jumps with thier BMX bikes.
