OK YOU WILL NEED A 19MM HAND WRENCH AND A 19MM SOCKET WRENCH AND POSSIBLY A VERY LARGE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW DRIVE TO PUT THIS TOGETHER THERE WERE A FEW LITTLE SCRATCHES ON THE METAL PARTS HARDLY NOTICEABLE BUT IT DOES COME WITH TOUCH UP PAINT IF YOUR THE PICKY TYPE BUT YOU CANT EVEN REALLY TELL UNLESS YOU LOOK CLOSE BUT IT IS A WEIGHT BENCH NOT A LAMP STAND AT 1ST I WAS WORRIED THAT THE 9.5 CONTOUR OF THE PAD MIGHT BE TO HIGH UP ON THE BENCH PAD TO GET THAT FULL SHOULDER EXTENSION WHEN YOU BRING DOWN THE BAR TO YOUR CHEST BUT NOW THAT I HAVE THE BENCH AND TRIED IT OUT I NOTICED IT WORKS PROPERLY THE OTHER THING IS WHERE YOU PLACE THE BAR DOWN ON THE REST THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW WERE LOOSE BUT I BOUGHT A LARGE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW DRIVER AND TIGHTENED IT UP ALOND WITH MY 19MM SOCKET WRENCH AND IT THAN WAS FIRM AND IN PLACE AND NOW HOLDS MY WEIGHT BAR SECURELY ALSO I HAVE TO SAY I LOVE THE BENCH PAD IT IS FIRM BUT A LITTLE SOFT AT THE SAME TIME IM JUST HOPEING THAT OVER TIME IT KEEPS ITS FIRMNESS AND DOES NOT GET TO SOFT ALSO WHERE THE PAD IS PLACED IS AWSOME THE PAD IS PLACED WHERE THE CROSS BAR RUNS RIGHT AROUND UNDER NEATH YOUR LOWER HEAD WHICH IS GOOD SO WHEN YOU RAISE THE BAR IT WILL NOT BE TO CLOSE TO TOUCHING THE BAR REST AS YOUR LIFTING SO FOR FLAT BENCHING THIS BENCH IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE I WOULD SAY FAIR DEAL FOR THE PRICE OF 288 SKIP ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLE AND GET THIS SOLID METAL BENCH HARD TO BELIEVE IT WAS MADE IN CHINA IT IS STURDY LIKE IF IT WERE MADE IN USA .

I read all the reviews before ordering this product and i must say all the reviews were good. I am very happy i ordered this bench. It didnt take long to put it together. It took me about an hour to do so. Once i put it together this bench was very strong and sturdy. I put about 200 pounds of olympic weights on it no problem. the spotter stand is also great. It looks and feels like a proffesional gym bench. I would recomend this bench to anyone out there and for the price you cant go wrong.

If you are looking for a simple but great olympic bench press that is very affordable, then I highly recommend this one. It ships in two boxes but is very easy to assemble. I recommend using your own tools to put it together, however it does come with the necessary tools. They even send extra paint to fix any scratches that may have occurred during shipping. Very nice professional product. I searched a long time and compared prices and this bench is definitely the best "bang for the buck" so to speak. Hope this helps.
