For a home gym, this rack is adequate. It is sturdy and fairly solid. Handles 400 lb to 500 lb bar weight well. Only issue I had was with its packaging. One box did not hold up well during shipping. (Came in 2 boxes.) The hardware package within the box was ripped open and washers, I believe found there way out of the torn box during shipping. Not a huge deal though since it was limited to washers. I bought a few more at local hardware store and completed rack. Framing inside box was a little scratched up also, but not a huge deal for me....
