Believe it or not! I went kayaking/camping in a nice cove that turned out to be a raging wash when a monsoon hits(living in AZ not that uncommon). Campfire doused, clouds obscuring the moon and all I had was this light that conveniently straps to your head. I had one hand on my kayak another on my tent (which I lost anyway), hands full, light was a tremendous help/ life saving piece of equipment. I had to kayak back @ 3:00 am for 2 hours with only this light to guide me on my way. Granted it was not the candle power I wish I had, but suffice it to say I found my way back through the maze of canyons to my launcing site.

My 1st LED experience was a crank flashlight of 3 LED. I needed a hands-free light. The expectation was minimal power, casting a blue light.I have now used it on weekday mornings for almost a month & find the light throws a good 20 feet. Cycling thru the button engages 2, 4, or all 8 LED and OFF. It uses 3 AAA batteries, has an almost clear light, plenty of elastic web for adjustment, padding for the unit against your forehead, and the fun part - from a straight forward position the light/battery unit swivels down. Since I can hang it by the webbing versus a flashlight laying in a drawer or on a shelf, this little gem is always nearby.

I just love this light as it has three brightless levels. I bought this for a gift for someone who lives out in the desert. He also rides dirt bikes. He said he just loves the light. I bought my husband one as we live have 44 animals on 10 acres and he is often going outside to check on the animals at night. Since at the moment time, we don't have proper lighting in the back area, he finds this very useful. I bought myself one to use as a book light. I love it as you can spolight it just right on the page you are reading!!!!! I recommend this product highly. TJ

I bought this for my Husband and my Grown Son, my Son is a plumber and does a lot of caving and outdoor activities, my husband is a Mr. Fix it, and we live in a very rural area, with no street lights. This product has paid for itself, when we have a fuse blow, or my husband has to go to the basement to look for something, or just outside, he grabs this first. He is a Mechanical Engineer, and I have even seen him put this on OVER his hard hat.

When I told my husband that I had bought him this LED headlight he laughed at me and thought it was a silly purchase. Since we have received this product in the mail my husband, and even myself, have used the LED headlight quite a few times already. Instead of having to use his free hand to hold a flashlight when fixing an appliance, changing the oil, etc., he just throws on the LED headlight and gets to work. He has admitted to me that this was a great purchase and has thanked me several times for buying it.

What a great little gizmo, I use it more that I expected. I got it to read in bed and found out it has many more uses, lighting my paintings as I paint or as a work light cleaning my watch.

When I first used the product I was immediately impressed with its functionality. It had good head fit and the pivoting adjustment of the light put light right where I needed it. The L.E.D. lights have a good amount of intensity in terms of providing a very useful amount of white light.

Its a great product and super cheap.I found it very useful in camping trips and for home use. Overstock provided the cheapist deal for this product. I'm very satisfied with it and look forward to use it often.

The light put out a good beam and fits comfortably on my head or under my bike helmet. The price can't be beat. The only concern I have is that the plastic housing seems quite cheap. If it were to be dropped or crashed it may no longer work. I'll see with time because it's sure to happen.

I got this headlight for my husband to use when he goes hunting. He said it works great--gives him hands free to carry his archery and equipment. I personally tested the battery life when used on the brightest setting. It lasted over 14 hours. We were going to use it for the night irrigators at the farm but it did not illuminate far enough for them.

I feel much safer now riding my bicycle at night while using the Stoneman Headlight. The two dimmer headlights on my handlebars are stationary. Since I am wearing the Stoneman Headlight, I can quickly and easily change the direction of the light.

Good light. adjustable strap works good. 3 way brightness selection works good. I like it, and highly recommend it to friends, and loved ones...for the great price. Delivery was right on time.

my kids LOVE these!! both have them now. these early dark nights have to take the dog for a walk... these get strapped on instead of holding a flashlight, dog bag, treat and leash and off the kids go. its funny but REALLY functional. very fun for kids on bikes early AM on way to school but they like them and I think its safer

Bought this as a gift for brother-in-law. You know how hard it is to find gifts for the men in your life. He's a car buff and really liked it. It would be great for an outdoorsy person, a hobbyist, or a DIY'er. Excellent value.

Our old headlamps died and we had become so fond of them we couldn't do without. They are ridiculously expensive at the stores and I'm as frugal as I'm able. These hit the mark. They are bright, able to be positioned and fit well. I will note, getting the straps adjusted the first time is somewhat awkward but well worth it once you get it fitted to your head. You'll look like a complete geek...but a geek who can light up their path like crazy!!!

Ordered two sets of lights. We use these when walking our dogs in the morning, when still quite dark outside. They produce enough light to enable us to walk through our local park, following the paved pathways, some of which are not lighted. A great safety device, everyone should have one. They keep our hands free to hold on to leashes, or if not walking dogs to carry something, and still have the benefit of the light. Highly recommend.
