Scope Mount
Great price on this product. Great job Overstock.com, purchased mount, was shipped across the country and had it in hand in less than 3 days (one week before Christmas nonetheless), mounted on rifle 15 minutes later. Excellent quality product (especially for the price). My first purchase from the big O and I'm sold.

Barely Acceptable Quality
The rings are advertised as for 1" scope tubes but they have cheap cloth inserts inside the rings to make them tighten up on 1" rings. At first I thought the cloth inserts were just protective but the rings wouldn't completely tighten down on the 1" scope tube without the cloth insert present. They are glued in and even the glue job was weak. After reinstalling the cloth insert I was able to tighten the rings sufficiently to grip the scope tube but that was after having to clean up the threads on one of the screws which apparently were garfed up at some point before I received the rings. Bottom line is I made them work and they work ok but the time required to fix the flaws that they came with is more valuable to me than the savings I experienced. Next time I'll buy more expensive ones, from OVERSTOCK.COM of course, and be able to install quickly and efficiently as should be the case. I love overstock.com , they do a great job before, during and after the sale but they can't be responsible for shoddy manufacturing or QA.
