    I bought this for my 15 year old brother and we took it out for a spin on the beach. It found a large metal nail about 3 feet under the sand! It found lots of metal very quickly. We both think it is pretty cool!

    Pleasantly surprised with the value and unit performs to a level expected only in more expensive units. Assessories are a PLUS.Be careful not to lose/drop small parts,( compression ring), I did,and I think the vacuum ate it. Perhaps overstock will send a new one, be nice Santa !!
