This is my first metal detector and i must say i love it. Its fairly straight forward construction and easy comfort grip makes it easy to just jump on and get to it.
Hey Ladies want to get Hubby out of your hair for a few hours??? Get him his own fortune finder! This was a gift for my husband and I haven't seen him since. Not really! But it is the best gift I ever gotten him. He's having alot of fun plus getting exercise!! So far $1.11 & 2 MatchBox cars, don't laugh at least he's out of the house and in the fresh air. Plus he tells me the big treasure is just around the corner!
We felt like this was a great value for a beginner treasure hunter. But after assembly, we found that it is much harder to figure out than we had hoped. We tried it in the front yard, then the back, then finally tried to locate a coin that was purposely buried for that purpose, and it would not register. With our busy lives calling us back to work, we haven't pulled it back out. We're hoping to become more educated on its operation, but not expecting it.
This was a gift for a friend we took it out a week ago. Although we did not find gold it was fun and easy to use. We are hoping it will help us walk more.....

I bought this item as a gift for a friend who is always looking in the couch for lost money, or finding change on the street, or underneath car seats. He took it to the beach and said he has already found $12.83, a set of car keys, AND a ring. He's still searching and having a great time doing so!
