Hello. Can you please tell me if the pieces have felt on the bottom of them and are made of wood? I currently have a board that is wood with wood pieces and the pieces slide around too easily. Thank you. froggirl9 on Jan 15, 2013

Thank you for your interest. The case is made of wood and the play area is covered in felt. The black and white sections for moving the pieces are synthetic leather.The moving pieces are not felted due to the playing area being felt.
