My grand daughter has spent many hours since Christmas on these skates. They worked well for her needs. She was a fearless beginner when she first wore the skates and soon became a comfortable, confident skater within days of receiving this product. I've found that the only con is that folding latches that loosen and tighten the skate being a bit more difficult to work for the younger child. Overall, my 9 year old grand, loves them
QUALITY AND DESIGN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. PACKAGE WAS SUBSTANTIAL AND IN PERFECT CONDITION UPON ARRIVAL

These skates are easy to adjust (by shoe size) and are very nice in appearance. However, the straps that make the skate firm around the childs foot comes loose. Then there is no support for the ankle and after hours of skating really made my daughters legs hurt. I had to continuously tighten the straps. I thing there shoud be some kind of device to lock the strap in place.
There have been several other reviews about poor quality and how uncomfortable these skates are, but my daughter has had the exact opposite experience. She's used them multiple times now. They don't hurt her feet at all, and the quality is just as good as my son's much more expensive set of inline skates. My daughter is five and is able to put them on easily by herself, making things much easier on me! My daughter's experience may be a bit different because she is a figure skater and used to heavy, difficult training, but these have been an excellent purchase. I would recommend these inline skates to anyone.
They look pretty, but the quality isn't there. Daughter preferred the all in one skates she had before instead of the slip in boot. I had to oil the bearings to make the wheels roll properly and neither they nor the wheels are good quality. Better to pay more for a quality pair of skates, or go to a big box store and pay a little less. Bad purchase.
