Thomas is popular with young children and this is a relatively new item. My grandsons love Thomas and this set really does the trick!
I researched the play castle which I bought for my 2 year old grandaughter (her 9 year old sister plays in it with her!). I decided on this one based on the good reviews. It went up easily, has no sharp edges, and is just right for little ones.
The only issue was some of the bags were torn and then wrapped around the pallet, so if you are not paying attention, you will have bark everywhere. I'm using this to go around my flower beds, instead of a playground. I'm trying to get out of the business of having to change the wooden bark down either every year or every other year. On the bag, it states good up to 12 years. I compare this product to the one on Amazon and found it cheaper here. Especially since I am a O member and shipping was free. It was worth the membership fee just for the shipping.
There was some problem with the shipping and it was sent to the post office. My daughter had to pick up the package. She did say My grandson was playing with the toy bulldozer and having fun.
My wife and I are just learning to play chess. This looks wonderful on the coffee table in the great room.

I was looking for outside toy's and you might want to check manard's,Kmart and walmart out first wow these are like 100.00 plus more then store's!!

Just got a couple of National Geographic Hear It, See It, Detect It Explorer Kits for my oldest sons for Christmas. I checked them out to make sure they worked and I have to say that the listening device and metal detector are pretty darned cool. The binoculars leave a little to be desired but are still sturdy.
