At first I was hesitant about ordering the ProV1X's from overstock, especially used ProV1X for many of the same reasons anyone else would have their hesitations. But when I received the set in the mail, I was pleasantly suprised by not only the quality of the golf balls but how many were actually in good condition. As soon as the order arrived I cracked open the boxes and took out every ball to inspect their quality and type. I had initially assumed that there would be ProV1X's from many generations, maybe including some of the new X's, which are not nearly as good as the years past. Every ball was a ProV1X 332, which is a solid ball and was happy to see consistancy. As for quality, I did not expect to get 50 top notch golf balls, because lets face it, that would be shocking. There were 6 balls that I deemed practice balls, suitable only for a chipping green, and 2 that I will put into a shag bag to be hit into some hazard or someplace where balls go to die.Out of the 48 balls, 40 were in good condition with 4 looking new. Since I am fairly particular about the ball I play (only ProV1X's and Callaway Tour i's) I was happy to see that I have 40 playable balls.I know many good players might be detoured by this offer but I would encourage you to give them a try.I am a below scratch golfer if anyone needs reference.
Bought Bridgestone balls a couple of months ago and was very impressed with their condition. Not so with the Titleist Pro V1x's. I would consider them very low grade; in the some cases the covers were breached and they had numerous cart path scuffs. All in all something that souldnt have been resold. Some were X-outs with a few practice balls mixed in.
Hey, got the same distance and spin effect as the new ones.why should i not be happy.Haynez

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. just a two or three scuffed, but overall very satisfied with the product..
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? As stated just a few scuffed .
Balls were heavily branded and many scuffed. Good for a social golfer though, and balls were in good condition apart from previously mentioned marks.

The balls are almost all in like new condition, also every ball was definately playable. The balls are not brand new obviously but the price per ball is undeniably the best deal I have found so far. I have ordered from here twice now and both times I was very pleased.

I've had a local guy sell me Pro V1s and Pro V1x's for years at $$$ a dozen and I can handpick the ones I want. He does this for a living on the side. He sells to Second Chance and driving ranges all over the state. However, I have found the balls I get through Overstock to be just as good as what I got from him and they are $$$ a dozen cheaper. I highly recommend any amateur to get their golf balls here. I'm a 12 handicapper and it probably wouldn't matter what I hit, but I'm partial to these Titleist and this is the best place to find them at a good price. As stated above, most have no markings or scuffs on them and the ones that do don't have any marks that will change the dynamics of the ball, especially for me. I always feel if I lose one, I've lost a "new" ball just as much as if I had paid $4 a piece for them. I also don't mind sharing them with a friend when he needs one, although they have my markings on them. As I said, I highly recommend this site to buy golf balls.
- How accurate was the sizing? Excellent in all areas
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. 9 out of 10 of these balls don't have any scuffs or marks. They're just like new balls.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes, as stated above
The balls came in two cases. There are couple X-out and practice balls. 3/4 of the balls are in good shape and rest have some wears on them. Overall, I think it's still a good deal.
When I find balls on the course, good balls go in my bag, average go to my son, and duds in the shag bag. Only 1 of the 48 went to the s.b, 2 to my son and 45 were deemed quality balls. A couple balls were stamped 'practice' which makes it look like I snuck them off of a high-end resort course practice range but other than that I am pleased with the per-ball cost for the quality I recieved
I wasn't planning on getting 48 perfect new pro V1x's here. I was expecting 35-40 reasonably good balls, a couple ABANDON HOPE ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE balls and maybe 3-4 "like new" balls. Suffice to say, that's pretty much what I got. The balls in poor shape had exposed cover/paint flaking off of them, which will be in the bottom of a water hazard at some point in the near future. The rest all had scuffs on them. For the price I feel like this is pretty average, I would have liked the bulk to be in slightly better shape but they're certainly playable. I guess the only alternative would be paying full price for new pro v1xs and that's not really in my wheelhouse at the moment.
I ordered these balls and there were maybe 3-4 that were in good shape. The majority had tree or cart path scuffs, or had been submerged in water so long the coating was bubbling up. Overstock has probably fixed this issue because this is the first time I have ever had a problem with anything from them. I kept the balls and used them for practice balls instead of returning them.
I have previously paid $3 each or more for these excellent golf balls. The ones I received from Overstock were in almost falwless new condition and were 1/3 the price. I would highly recommend these.
This is the cheapest place I found to buy refurbished Titleist PRO V golfballs. I no longer buy golfballs from any retail store. The ease of ordering and the delivery times make this number one in my book.
About 80% unblemished, some logo balls int he mix - all in all pretty good value
