I HAD TO REBUILD THE FRONT WHEEL HUB WHEN I RECIEVED IT. OTHER THAN THAT ALL HAS BEEN GOOD.Read More
Almost every week it breaks something, very heavy compared to other bikes I own. In the good side being that heavy is good for extreme cardio work out!!. It Came with a flat tube, various damage parts, etc. The look is Ok, but the actual quality is not that good. calibration of the front disk brakes a very hard task. Make sure to revise and tight everything at least once or twice a week to avoid an accident.Read More
Excellent construction, rides and shifts smoothly. One of the shifters was defective but Overstock.com immediately shipped a new one to me - NO questions asked! Simple assembly. Love It!!!Read More
The package arrived in decent condition and in a very timely manner. The bike emerged in pristine state and needed only minimal assembly. The enclosed instructions, although covering multiple different bicycles were complete and clear. Brakes and shifters needed only minimal tuning. Great bike, easy to ride and comfortable.Read More
I ordered this for my Dad, it was his Father's Day gift. He LOVES it! He wanted to get "back in the saddle" after a couple of years of recoop time. It was perfect for him...great for trails, BUT has all the bells and whistles that the "Mountian Bike Expert" would appreciate. Excellent value, he couldn't be happier.Read More
lt looked great from the screen. but when i saw it, it had few problems. 1. it used same front wheel frame of 'punisher'. if you take a look at it, 'punisher' uses rubber brake and 'glacier' uses front disk brake. well, since both bike uses same frame, 'glacier' has 2 prongs (it's there to hold front rubber brake for 'punisher') that's not even painted, protruding. it looks really bad. 2. front disk pad keeps scrapping on the disk. i was told that as brake pad wares out i won't hear it. but it's been over 3 weeks riding everyday. i still hear it. 3. my impression of assembly was very simple. however it was nearly impossible for me to assebmble it and riding safely. so , i spend about $50 to assemble and tune up. 4. even after the bike was assembled by pro, the gear, especially front gear, doesn't work properly. in order to change from 1 to 3, i really have to work at it. and then make it even worse, sometimes chain rubs against gear changer making another scraping noise. to sum up, i regret that i bought this bike. i could have bought something better with 1 year full warrenty for $75 more. personally, i can't believe this bike is sold out. good luck to those who bought it.Read More
Overall, I liked the price, the bike is a quality one, the shipment was fast, but when it got here, assembly was difficult, and after giving up and taking it to a bike shop, I found out that some of the pre-assembled components on the bike were not assembled correctly. The bike shop guy did, however, give the overall bike a good review, so if you don't know anything about bike construction and are considering buying this model, be prepared to pay around 70 bucks to have someone else put on the unassemble parts for you, not to mention fix the parts that weren't put on right before it was shipped.Read More
This bike one of the best i owned, very nice handling, rigid, have a feel of $1500.00 bike.Read More
The bike came in a rather small box for it's size which surprised me, as it had to be partially assembled. The problem was that there were numerous small nicks and scratches all over the bike. None were very big, but for being brand new, there shouldn't be any. The bike chain was off the gears and took CONSIDERALE effort and partial unassembley to untangle and retooth. The worst part was that the front fork was pinched at the end so that the front wheel could not be installed. I had to use a car jack to spread it open, and even then it took (2) men to install the front wheel which is supposed to be a quick latch setup for transport by easily removing and reinstalling front wheel (would not be possible, though, with present fork since it is still too pinched). The manufacturer did however ship me a new fork very quickly to my amazement. I have yet to install it though since it came with no assembly instructions and will require the transfer of the front brake assembly and the installation of numerous rings and ball bearings. Ugh. Oh, and the handle bar is a bit smallish for a bike this size.Read More

FAQs about BMX Bikes
BMX is short for bicycle motocross and refers to a sport that involves extreme racing on bicycles in motocross style, usually over dirt tracks. BMX bike racing started in southern California in the 1970s when kids started racing their standard bicycles over dirt tracks. This eventually evolved into the extreme sport that we see today. Now, "BMX bike" is a fairly generic term that can relate to any number of styles of bicycle, including all-terrain bikes and mountain bikes. The type of BMX bike you buy will depend on what you want to do with it and where you want to use it.

How to Change a Bicycle Tire
If you own a bicycle, at some point you will probably have to change the tires. Worn down or cracked bicycle tires can be very dangerous because the tube inside is exposed and may suddenly blow out if you ride over a sharp object. Another reason to change your bicycle tires is if you plan to ride on different types of terrain. You will need a tire with more traction if you switch from cycling on paved roads to cycling off-road, while tires that are narrower are more efficient on smooth, paved roads and trails. When it comes to safety, tires are one of the most important bicycle parts and accessories to consider.

Whether you like charging uphill, flying downhill or cruising cross-country, finding a mountain bike that meets your needs is important. Different bikes are designed for different terrain and riding styles. You'll want to consider several features when looking to buy a mountain bike.
Tips on Choosing BMX Bikes
Ever since they appeared in California in the 1960s, BMX bikes have been a standard mode of transportation for kids. That's partly because BMX bicycles are the right size and partly because they're durable, but it's also due in large part to the fact that BMX bikes are simply cool. They're made for riding around in the dirt and jumping off ramps, and it doesn't get a whole lot cooler than that for a ten year old (if not their parents). If you're a parent and you're not sold on just how awesome BMX bikes are for young kids, you can still appreciate the fact that they make great beginner bikes. They're built to withstand a lot of abuse, and the design is simple enough that repairs and adjustments are infrequent and easy. Keep reading for more information on why a BMX bike may be the right bike for your child and tips on choosing the right bike.

But if your car isn't going to cut it this year, you're going to need a computer bag that can match your level of adventure. How to Buy Cycling Shoes
As with most sports, cycling has an array of gear made specifically for it. Cycling shoes, for example, are designed to help a cyclist perform better. While regular tennis shoes or sneakers slip on the pedals of a bike, cycling shoes grip the pedals. The stiffness of the soles of these shoes combined with the ability to fasten to the pedals of the bike allow for optimum efficiency when cycling. If you are participating in cycling, it is necessary to buy biking shoes to get the most out of bike rides without wasting energy.
How to Choose Winter Cycling Apparel
When choosing winter cycling apparel, keep in mind how cold the weather you'll be cycling in is. Choose apparel that is appropriate to the weather and that fits you well. Too many air pockets can make you cold, as can clothing that is too tight. Winter cycling can be a fun sport with the right clothing. Biking in winter can be comfortable with the right apparel.
How to Use Cycling Shoes
Cycling shoes are designed to improve a cyclist's performance. The sole of a cycling shoe has limited flexibility, which helps a cyclist concentrate all his or her power on pedaling. Cycling shoes also have special cleats that clip into clipless pedals (a very misleading name) to prevent the shoes from slipping off and allow you to pull up on your pedals, increasing your cycling performance. Once clipped in, the bike shoes will remain attached until the cyclist is ready to disengage. Cycling shoes are specially designed for various styles of cycling, including road racing, spinning, touring, off-road biking and mountain biking. Road-cycling shoes usually have slick plastic soles that aren't designed to provide traction. Mountain-bike shoes, on the other hand, look more like regular hiking shoes and are more suited to walking.
