Compared to the previous spa 2 go that I owned there have been some great improvements . I love the way it's all self contained ! It arrived quickly and is
Now heating up. Stay tuned for further reviews if you need extra filters or a nature 2 spa sanatizer you can get them from the spa depot !

But this tub is great for the money for two people.
It tells you 4 but you better be real friendly with the other two

I ordered this tub because I only saw positive reviews. For the price it is a decent hot tub, but both spas that I received would not hold air. Overstock was great and paid to ship them both back, but what a hassle it was to set them up and then to dismantle them and get them back into the box for return.
When I called about the first one, I asked how often this happens, and the young man checked and said that probably 4 out of 10 had issues with holding air or being inflated. Maybe all those folks did not write a review, but it makes me wonder. I would think twice before ordering this product.
Also it is not a Therma Spa, but a Thera Spa, and there is no contact information whatsoever in the directions.

Please tell us about the quality of the product. Both tubs I received came with a leak.
Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No
Had the tub two months, the motor died. It was still under the 3 month warranty, so the company had me ship the motor back to them in Florida, free, and they fixed it. It worked for a month and died again. This time the warranty was over so I had to pay to ship it back to Florida this time. They fixed it again and shipped it back. Worked for another month and has died yet again. They want me to ship it back again. I said no. I will go to another company and find another hot tub. When the tub worked it was great. But the amount of time it was not working wasnt worth the money or the trouble. Not to mention, each time it had to be drained and refilled. So my water bill went way up after filling it three times in five months. I will try another company!
How accurate was the sizing? accurate
Please tell us about the quality of the product. NOT GOOD
One person was able to put it together with very little effort. Make sure it is spread out evenly before you fill it up. Other reviews said it takes 2 days to heat up and that is also very accurate. You would have to know the other two people very well to make this a 4 person spa.
How accurate was the sizing? Very accurate
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Quality is very good
Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Everything is working fine.
I still haven't made a final decision on this product. It was wonderful in the summer time but as soon as the temps started to drop it could not hold temp. I really like 103 degrees so was disappointed when exterior temps of 60 caused it to be too cool. I've put it away for winter, seeing no way to keep it to temp. If it works in the spring I'll consider myself a winner. I'll update my comments then!
There is no padding to speak of on the bottom so placing the tub when empty upon an insulation blanket helps.

This is the second of a very simular product that we've had. The first one had the heating eliment go bad within a week. You have to pay very close attention to your opperating times and to the water chemestry. We keep ours set up for use every day - but sometimes we feel more like we are babysitting it than using it - but it's all worthwhile when we get in it. The only other thing of note: The bubble function (is also the apparatus that blows it up) is pretty loud - it sounds like a shop vac.

How often do you have to change the water and if you do, how do you do it? Also, what chemicals do you need to purchase with the hot tub?chercher40 on Feb 10, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
only have to change as needed. the chemical are only drops at a timedisheye on Feb 13, 2013
Thank you for contacting us, water must be replaced every 90 days. MFG recommended Chlorine only, What we recommend is to walk in to a local Pool Store and bring a sample of your water, they will tell you exactly to the ounce what to pour in.
The water is filled by Garden Hose and emptied from the bottom of the Motorbox, there is a threaded cap to unload the water. When opening ensure your rubber plug is still in the drain floor of the spa so you don’t have a flood.
Please let me know if you have any further question.

Can this tub be used in cold climates? I have seen several that do not advise operation below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Other similar models advise the owner to drain and deflate below said temperature.bsims13 on Sep 25, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question

I am unable to get the air out after draining it. I unscrewed the cap on the air valve, but after 24 hours, it is still inflated. Could you give better directions? the manual does not tell how to do it.dpulos on Sep 19, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
I am unsure of any better way to do so, if the manual states to do what it does and it is still not working, I would suggest to contact the manufacturer and see if they can recommend something better.overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 19, 2012
Do most people keep this hot tub indoors? And can you use an extension cord with it?osurephil on Jul 31, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
It is probably easier to drain the water if outside, but if you want to use it inside it would work. An extension cord can be used as long as using the correct volts.overstockcustomercare1 on Aug 1, 2012
Yes. We have it set up inside, in one of the smaller bedroom. It is wonderful! Best money I ever spent!!chris163 on Aug 15, 2012

we didnt want to sit the spa on our pavers so we went to the hardware store and purchased the rubber pad thats normally used for cashiers to stand on, to put over the pavers and sit the spa on top of, which made our spa floor very cushy when you stand or sit on it and we love it!r102523 on Jun 29, 2012
I have just purchased this spa and am very happy with the product with one exception. After the tub was filled with air & water. we used it and then it sat over night. By morning it was quite deflated and I had to pump more air for about 2 minutes into it. Then about another 7 hours later I had to pump air in again for about 1 minute. Is this a normal loss of air or might there be a leak? There is no sign of a leak and it is on pavers that were swept very clean.mslao2000 on Apr 25, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question

It sounds like you have a defective item. I would call Customer Care at 1-800-The-BIG-O (843-2446).overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 9, 2013
It should not do that. There IS a slow leak somewhere on it. If you do find it liquid silicone works beautifully to repair it instead of a patch. Personal experience.grxengine on Mar 8, 2013

Is there a minimum outside temperature requirement to operate this spa out door. Can it be running outdoor when outside temperature is even below freezing? on Apr 16, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Use a standard spa chemical set using a bromine or chlorine sanitizer. You can buy the kits on amazon or at any pool/spa store. If you don't use any chemicals it will get very moldy and full of bacteria very fast due to the high temperature. We keep our thermaspa set up year round and use daily chlorine treatments.overstockcustomercare1 on Apr 4, 2012
