I purchased the book for my son who is a cross country runner. We also purchase a volume from the series which focuses on basketball. After looking through both volumes we found many similar exercises but appreciated the fact that each volume looked at the various workouts from the perspective of its particular sport. A great volume to establish and maintian appropriate workouts to prepare and builds ones ability to run and perform at a consistent and highly successful level.
