get these to fill in your stock and save your own time for inventive ties like parasol emergers, cripples, etc. or flies you like but people don't seem to sell, like buckskin, large western coachman, large bird's stonefly nymph .... you might not like the idea if you still change your own oil and fix your own flats. but i value my time off and at a buck or less apiece these are a great deal Pretty much just like in any shop where you will pay 2 dollars a piece.
