It's a piece of (plastic) pvc pipe wrapped in tape with a very thin piece of rope tied to it. What a hunk of junk. I could of made 10 of these for the same price.
This is not much more than a sturdy cardboard tube with a hole drilled in it, and a flimsy length of nylon string knotted into the hole. At the other end of the string is another tube to hang the weight on. The first tube is wrapped in grip tape.
This looks like a home manufactured item, and is absolutely NOT worth any price put on it.
I bought this for my son to help relieve the tendonitis he suffered during baseball season. I was sadly disappointed when this so-called sport's buddy arrived. It looks like it was made by a second grader. The tape does not stick to it and the rope is so flimsy I don't think it would support a 1lb weight. I have made numerous purchases from overstock and have been generally pleased with their quality, but this is by far a piece of junk.
