A good bit smaller than the Garfield, the Pierce is equally imposing and a 'Grande Dame' in its own right.
One of Greenleaf's most popular models, the Pierce offers tremendous value at a most reasonable price, with lots of gingerbread and Victorian charm. The house has six large rooms, an attic, and a secret tower chamber along with an elegant curved staircase, silk-screened windows, two fireplaces, and a wrap veranda. There's a fine open feeling to this stately home, and you're sure to be impressed by its grandeur.

Customer Reviews
The dollhouse came in 3 days from the time I ordered it. It has been a great project and our granddaughter can't wait to start decorating it. It takes time and patients to put it all together and anyone who thinks differently has never been involved with dollhousing before. It is a great house for the money. We only hope we can find a house of similar value when our second granddaughter is old enough.
I purchased this dollhouse kit to build for my granddaughter. The boards were warped and required extra gluing and clamping. Many of the pieces needed to be cut out because the dies used did not penetrate the boards. The instructions were vague and at times hard to follow. Unless you have thetime and patience to deal with these factory flaws, I would not recommend this product. My husband and I take much greater pride in our workmanship that the manufacturers do.

It takes time and patience. It is not for a novice. Parts are not easy to put together. I think the material quality could be better.
I found this dollhouse to be a pain. It looks nice but the directions were a little confusing. You have to figure things out on your own and the pictures are not clear. I found the porch very complicated and the wood required alot of sanding. Make sure you have alot of room because it is quite large. The trim pieces didn't come out of the sheets easy, either. I damaged alot while popping them out, the just splintered and could not be used.

The house came in about two weeks (anyone who thought it would come sooner is crazy). I was very excited to get started, I think you have to have some understanding of crafts and workmanship to fully understand what you are doing, however it doesn¿t take a genus to figure it out. I am not finding it too difficult. I don¿t think it is a project for young children, it takes a while to do it and it does require ¿some¿ attention to detail. I am currently still working on the house and I love it. I was so excited to find this ¿Great Find¿, I will absolutely do it again and in fact, I plan to. I have been very impressed with the entire experience, Thanks Overstock.com! Elle
