This is a good product for calm conditions. We had a screen hut for many years prior to this purchase and were expecting something comparable. This Arbor however is light in weight and the stakes bent as soon as we tried to hammer them in the ground. Also, when it rained the rain came through the side walls. This arbor would be perfect if there' no wind, no rain, and you are simply trying to keep the bugs out. I would not recommend this for a camping experience.Read More
good idea but just act's like a sail W/ very little breeze have to have it strapped down & still twists & turn's W/ wind (doesn't keep it's shape) U have to re-set (form back to shape) I'd never do that again !! not @ all happy waste of $$$Read More
Arbor was easy to set up, plenty of stakes and guy ropes, and nice pictures of setup instructions. Held up perfectly during a surprise thunderstorm that happened just hours after we set it up. Folds up nice and compact in the carrying bag that comes with it, too. Would buy this product/brand again.Read More

Tips on Camping with Your Coleman Tent
Tent camping is a popular way to escape the city and enjoy the outdoors firsthand. There is something special about having only one protection between you and the elements: your Coleman tent. Here are a few ideas to make sure you and your Coleman tent get off on the right foot on your next camping trip.
How to Choose a Tent
It can be so great to be out in nature camping, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars. But after a day full of the outdoors, it's time to retire to your home away from home, your tent. It won't give you all the conveniences of home, but a tent should keep you dry and protected from critters while you sleep. It should also hold most of your camping gear and give you a place to go if the weather isn't cooperating. So buy a tent hoping you will only sleep in it, but also buy a tent that will be comfortable to be awake in as well.
How to Put Rhinestones on Your Cell Phone
There was a time when personalizing your cell phone meant using your favorite song as the ringtone and a picture of your dog as the screen saver. Now cell phones are becoming as much of a fashion accessory as they are a communication device. Adding rhinestone designs to the outside cover of your phone is just another way for you to personalize it. All you need is your cell phone and the right arts and crafts supplies.
How to Choose a Sleeping Bag
Choosing a sleeping bag is a highly individual process which should be based on several important factors -- including features, style, material and versatility. Before you begin shopping for a sleeping bag, know exactly what you will need it for. Will you be using it for year-round camping and hiking or only camping and outdoor activities in spring or summer? Will you be sleeping in your vehicle, in a tent or under the stars? What types of materials do you prefer? Once that you have determined the desired traits you would like in a sleeping bag, you can begin shopping in earnest. Here are the steps you'll need to take as you narrow your search.
How to Choose Sheets for an Inflatable Mattress
An inflatable mattress is indispensible as extra bedroom furniture when you have houseguests or as a comfortable resting place when you're enjoying the great outdoors (from the safety of a tent). To make your air bed even more appealing, make sure you treat it like a regular bed; an inflatable mattress will benefit from luxurious sheets as much as any other mattress. Choose the right sheets for your bedroom furniture and treat your guests to an inflatable mattress experience they'll never forget.
Sleeping Bag Care
A good sleeping bag can make all the difference when you're sleeping outdoors. Sleeping bags keep you warm at night and protect you from the elements, whether you're camping with or without a tent. You'll want to treat your sleeping bag as well as it does you. Proper sleeping bag care will help your sleeping bags perform well and last longer. Here are some general care tips to prolong the life of your sleeping bags.
Best Sleeping Pads to Use with Sleeping Bags
If you dislike sleeping on the cold, hard ground, a sleeping pad underneath your sleeping bag can really save you a night of discomfort. A sleeping pad is also essential for keeping your sleeping bag protected when you're roughing it. When you're packing up your sleeping bag, tent and other camping gear, don't forget a sleeping pad to keep you comfortable in the great outdoors. There are three basic types of sleeping pads available for use with sleeping bags: air mattresses,, foam pads and self-inflating pads. The type of pad you'll need depends on what kind of camping you'll be doing and how much padding you prefer.
How to Set up a Tent
Setting up a tent can seem a complex task for any first-time camper. Tents are an essential and useful piece of camping gear, for sure, but many frustrated campers have cursed their camping tent as they've tried to set it up in the dark without proper preparation. However, once you've set up a tent several times, it becomes a familiar routine that can easily be repeated even in the most difficult hiking and camping conditions, and once you've mastered setting up one kind of tent, it will then be easier to set up other kinds of tents, be they dome tents or family tents. Camping and hiking should be enjoyable, and they certainly can be if you know how to set up your camping and hiking equipment. Here are the steps that will help you set up tents for camping quickly and efficiently.

4 Ways to Celebrate Arbor Day
The first Arbor Day took place in Nebraska City, Nebraska, on April 10, 1872. It is estimated that one million trees were planted that day. The idea of a holiday celebrating trees took hold; by the 1920s, every state in the US had passed a law stipulating that Arbor Day be observed on the last Friday in April. In Nebraska, it's observed as a civic holiday. Planting a tree is the most customary way to observe Arbor Day, but there are other ways to celebrate, too.
