Who knew this was going to be a banner year for biting flies and mosquitos?! Although the flies may only be around only a couple of weeks, we don't want to risk West Nile disease while trying to enjoy our meals outdoors. The zipper seems very sturdy and isn't a hassle opening and closing it. I especially like the tent pole for securing the bottom. We had one last year that was filled with water that sprang a leak. The elastic is a better idea than a nylon cord that fell apart from the sun. The price was amazing and naturally the awesome Overstock delivery was prompt. This will definetly keep the Yellow Jackets from stealing the picnic.
- Did the product fit true to size? perfectly
- How is the quality of the product? Very durable

This has made entertaining a breeze and bug free. I used water to anchor the bottom down ( just fill with hose and it keeps it anchored down) Would like to have 2 zipper entry but other than that it's GREAT!
- Did the product fit true to size? I use it with my 9' umbrella and it fits perfect

This is a fantastic product. While everyone else in the marina runs for cover when the mosquitoes come out we are sitting under the net watching the sunset! The net is small gauge enough to keep out very small insects yet doesn't interfere with viewing anything outside the net. The only downside to this is we had a problem with the zipper. When we contacted O.co they remedied the problem. When this one wears out we will purchase another. Love it. I have recommended this to all our friends.
After using it now for a month, it is effective and I am glad I bought it. The minor problem is that you must be careful to weight it so it lies flat on the ground. The shafts at the bottom edge of the tent are brittle, but not excessively. All in all, it has kept the mosquitoes and no-seeums off me provided I am conscientious about the bottom rim. For the price, can't be beat.
This is ideal for keeping out ALL bugs. We have told our friends about it. Quality is good, especially for the price. Took about 15 minutes to push the rods through the bottom of the tent. anyway, we love it! We live in NOrth Dakota.......tons of mosquitos, but NONE in our net area!
I put this up by myself on my patio without too much difficulty. The construction is better than i expected for the price. It feels and looks bigger than the pictures shows and fit my umbrella fine once i gently pulled it down a bit. We have had several storms while i was at work and so far its not blown away! I'm not sure how well it will disassemble, but shouldn't be much different. Overall a good idea that makes eating and siting out in the evening virtually bug free!
Good, but use the Texsport Umbrella Net, umbrella, and a heavy duty stand with a table with an umbrella hole, or other secure means, to avoid wind mishaps.
We are so glad we ordered the Texsport Umbrella Net. It goes up and down so easy and is bigger then we expected. By having the screening and table as one unit, we can barbecue and eat in peace without swatting at flies and bugs. We have had canopies but this goes up so much easier and a sudden storm means we have it down so quickly we don't even get wet!
I bought this netting because I host lots of outdoor parties, and wanted to be able to keep the snacks fresh and bug free. This is a heavy duty netting that goes over the umbrella top, and zips up the front. Looks exactly like the pictures, and worked great. It comes in a zip up nylon bag, and includes stakes and ties to anchor the bottom of the net. The only problems (and the only reason I didn't give it a 5), is because the netting didn't quite touch the ground when my umbrella was opened up, but maybe you need a smaller patio umbrella. The only other thing is that it is a little difficult to put the poles in the bottom loops of the net. It is essentially a plastic tube that you slide the poles through to open up the bottom, and it took some maneuvering to get them all the way around the net bottom. However, I would highly recommend this for anyone doing outdoor parties or meals. It would be big enough to sit under around a round table for a meal, and seems pretty sturdy. I loved it!
disappointed that the 11 ft umbrella was not included as tent cannot be assembled without it.
