I have had this inversion table for over a year now, and I really like it. It's very easy to use and it has really helped my lower back.

My husband has back problems so I got this for him for his birthday. No problem putting it together and he has enjoyed it tremendously. It has helped his back a lot. We have had it barely a month but he cannot believe how much it has done already.

Just what the doctor ordered

nwcats from Omaha, NE, Jan 1, 2010

I received my EP-550 about 2 weeks ago. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble and immediately put it to use. Although I haven't had the inversion table all that long, I believe it's helping me. The product is very solid and I look forward to many years of enjoyment.

Focus on the height setting at first

schnzrmom from Alabama, Dec 23, 2009

The table not only included the written manual on assembly but included a video segment on assembly as well. For me, the hardest part of the assembly was pushing the foam cushions into position on the ankle bar. The bar has an angle on it and the foam is dense so it took some cramming to fit the cushions fully into position. The directions do recommend spending a lot of time getting your height setting just right when you first use the machine; I was surprised at how quickly the table would invert you when the height setting was too short. It took me numerous times to find the correct height setting but once I found the one, the inversion is gentle and easy, and easy to reverse when you are ready. Because of the quick inversion if the setting is too short, I would recommend starting with a setting that is too long and keep adjusting down until you find the right one. I have not used an inversion table other than the EP500 so I have nothing to compare it to but the EP500 is comfortable on my ankles. It does fold for storage but it is still big, bulky, and pretty heavy for a female to move, though it is very easy to use. I have set it up in a corner of the guest room and don't intend to move it often.

Teeter Hangup

oldgeek1 from Intermountian West, Idaho, Dec 23, 2009

The equipment is all that it claimed to be, I have suffered from back injuries acquired in the early 80's and have had reoccurring pain and mobility issues ever since. I have tried every non surgical treatment available for a condition that is not surgically repairable and this device is already making a noticeable difference. My wife and I have been using it and both agree that it is doing all that it claims to do. Setup was not difficult but is best done with 2 people though can be done alone. the item is quite stable and easy to adjust. How ever it is wise to make sure that your health conditions will not be an issue when you hang upside down. It would be advisable to discuss with your doctor about is use if you have poorly controlled high blood pressure or head injuries/strokes that may be affected by blood rushing to your head. It has brought a great deal of relief to me and my wife and was well worth the purchase price. I recommend this item to anyone that has back problems that has not had surgery, those that have should seek medical advice before trying it.
