R7 3-PW
from APO AE,  Jul 15, 2007

I recieved my R7s in the mail from another friend. ( I had to ship to a US address, as Overstock would not ship this item to an APO AE address. ( Still don't know why). However, the product is great. Brand new TM R7s hit as advertised. Very forgiving and extra distance. I would recommend them to anyone. I'm looking for the drivers now... Good luck. Donman

EXCELLENT
from Aloha, Oregon,  Sep 21, 2010

I replaced my beginners irons with the Taylor Made R7 Irons. The improvement on the first swing was nothing short of amazement. The weight, balance, and even the sound on a good shot is sweet.

great clubs
from Boston, MA,  Oct 29, 2008

i upgraded from tommy armor 845's to the R7's and i cant stress enough how smooth the clubs are, great weighting, amazing feel. i shot in the high 80's with the TA's and first round out with the R7's shot 82, much more control in the mid irons, easily spinning the ball with the lower irons cant stress how much i love these clubs not to mention the price, i hit them at my local club and the pro wanted $950 for them, when i showed up the other day he told me he doesn¿t even get them this cheap great clubs!

Good purchase indeed
from Lubbock, Tx,  Aug 5, 2008

I have been playing for a little over a year, and typically shoot in the 90's. The combination of these clubs as an upgrade to my starter clubs and some technique refinements from the local pro and I have shaved nearly 10 strokes from my game in a month. Large face is forgiving and provides feedback on ball strike. Good tragectory for ball flight even though the small angle difference on the longer clubs. I think there is only a few degree variance for the 3-5, although i could be mistaken. A very good set with just enough weight to help correct a slightly off swing plane.

Awesome
from Salt Lake City, UT,  Nov 19, 2007

Can't believe the weighting of these clubs. Night and day to my old Fila's. Very accurate within 150yrds. Everyone that has used them during a round of golf with me has decided they need to buy a set. Best gift I have bought myself in a long time.

Highly recommend
from East Texas,  Oct 30, 2007

I replaced what I thought were the longest irons ever built (Armour TI100's) because I wanted to start playing w/ steel shafts. I bought these on a whim while scanning the internet. Figured I could resell them if I didn't like 'em. To my surprise, they are as long as my previous irons. They have an overall better look, not as big and bulky. I've retired what my golf buddies call the shovels and I'm very happy with them. They are forgiving on mishits and very crisp when hit pure. Must be more workable than my previous ones as these seem to have brought a slight draw into my game even though they weren't the draw bias irons. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a transition club, even if they aren't touted as such.
