e ended up getting a MUCH thicker floor that is a LOT less spongy, so not sure what we're going to do w/this one, however it seems pretty good if you're NOT laying gym flooring above carpet (as we were- then this seemed to squishy to avoid knee injuries while lunging, carrying heavy weights, etc.) Probably if you were laying on wood or concrete, it would work out fine. Looks just like as pictured.Read More

How to Pick a Mat to Use Under an Office Chair
Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. Mats designed for these areas are a practical solution to both issues. Mats can also protect harder, uncarpeted floors -- such as vinyl or wood, from wear caused by chair rollers. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.

Best Bathroom Accessory Ideas
The bathroom is a key space in any home because it is an intimate area where you bathe and groom. Make it your haven or turn a shared bathroom into an inviting space by furnishing it with decorative and useful pieces. Look for bathroom accessories that help you relax and add to the decor. Here are some of the best bathroom accessory ideas to help you make the most out of your bathroom. Massaging bath mat: Massaging bath mats are bathroom accessories that can change your bathing experience. Suction cups hold these mats in place in your bathtub. By turning on one of these mats, you'll receive a full-body massage as you bathe. They're great for letting your circulation flow after a stressful day. Massaging bath mats are a worthwhile addition to your bathroom. Not only do they help you relax, but they also keep you from slipping in the tub. Select a mat in a color that is close to the one of your bathtub to keep the decor of the room uniform. Decorative mirrors: Decorative mirrors are useful bathroom accessories. Replace your plain bathroom mirror with one that has accents or an interesting shape. This new mirror will enliven the room while maintaining its purpose as a mirror. You can also use it for practical purposes, such as hiding a storage unit. Look for multipurpose mirrors that open to reveal a medicine cabinet. Bath pillows: Bath pillows can help you relax in your bathtub after a difficult day. A bath pillow offers support to your neck to keep it from straining when you lie down. They are convenient because they're small and take up very little space. Automatic soap dispensers: Automatic soap dispensers are very useful for your bathroom. They ensure that users will have plenty of soap for cleaning and sanitizing their hands. How to Choose an Eco-friendly Bath Mat
Going green can extend into every corner of your home -- even to your bath mat. Bathroom rugs are great at absorbing excess water, but these mats are often made from synthetic materials and can harbor mold and bacteria. For allergy suffers, this mildew can be especially harmful and usually results in frequent bath rug replacement. Environmentally-friendly bath rugs can be just as effective as standard rugs, with minimal impact on our ecosystem. Keep reading to learn how to choose an eco-friendly bath mat that is both stylish and green.
How to Buy Exercise Equipment
Buying your own exercise equipment can be a great long-term investment. As opposed to paying for a membership to a gym, you can have the fitness and exercise equipment in your own home and work out whenever you'd like. The upfront expense of home gym machines will become a bargain over time because you won't be paying any monthly fees or membership charges. The fact that you can work out whenever you like in the comfort of your own home is also a big bonus. Because exercise equipment is a substantial investment though, it is important to make a few considerations before you purchase your fitness equipment.
Treadmills vs Elliptical Trainers
New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
