My 7 year olded grandson loved the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. It's all he plays with. He is at the right age to use a remote control. I tried when he was younger, but it was just frustrating. Now he is at the age where he can control the Helicopter and fly it, and land it without making his grandma nuts. Thanks keh

First off, my husband loves this! I bought it for him for Christmas and has been flying it non-stop. It has colorful running lights and a headlight so you can even fly it in the dark and still see where it is going. It is also very durable - (my husband has another Apache helicopter and every time that one crash lands he ends up online buying new parts from the manufacturer) but in my opinion, THIS ONE IS VIRTUALLY CRASH PROOF! He has banged this one into walls, ceilings, t.v.s, and tables while getting used to the controlls and nothing has broken - not the helicopter and not our stuff. The only negatives seem to be that the battery is permanently fixed in the body so you can't buy a spare and charge it while running the toy so the play time is limited and also when the battery gets low the 'copter gets sluggish really quickly - the rotors will spin but liftoff never occurs at that point. Overall I would say a good value for the money and a lot of fun for kids and adults!

After having three boys and dozens of these types of flying toys, I'm done. None of them work for very long. They always hit the ground and break something on it and never work again. This one was no different. Spend your money on something that lasts.

I bought two of these -- one for my son and the other for my grandson. Both were broken the first day! My son's broke when it hit the refrigerator. My grandson's broke when it hit the wall. These are absolutely JUNK!!!!!!!

I have an eight-year old and he loves helicopters. We bought quite a few of them in the past and they only lasted a couple of days. This one has been working for months now. It is really worthy the money.

This is a great gift for my son. The controls were easy to understand and the performance met all expectation. It has provided him with hours of entertainment and the toy has proven very reliable.

I gave this helicopter to my boyfriend for Christmas at his request, and he LOVES IT. I didn't know much (anything) about these helicopters, but he insists this is a great one and that he can't believe I found one that is so awesome. It is easy to use, goes all directions, is stable, and looks really cool. It doesn't stay charged for long (10-15 minutes?) but he says that's standard for these sorts of helicopters...

I bought this helicopter as a Christmas gift for my husband. It looks as great as it did on-line. He loves it. It's great indoors and easy to learn to maneuver. Seems durable. Glad I could count on Overstock once again!

The gyrocopter is fun. A few dissapointments on Christmas morning though. The item description states the item was larger than it actually was. The box it arrived in, made me think it may have been pretty big, it wasn't. I would've been better off spending the extra $15 for the larger gyrocopter in the mall, which was much sturdier than this one. I don't recommend this for anyone under 12. It does not hold a charge for long. Even with pretty new rechargable batteries; and requiring 6 of them, you would think it'd last long, but it didn't! I don't think it's a bad gyrocopter, just don't have high expectations for it. Spend the extra $15 at the mall and get a better one.

What I got is what I thought it would be and I'm enjoying it. Electric aircraft can be used indoors when its raining.

I was a bit worried about this purchase - as i assumed it would crash into something and break shortly after taking out of the box. It has been a month since he received it and it is still going strong. He plays with it every day and the novelty has yet to wear off. I was worried that he would have a hard time with the controls- but he mastered them within a 1/2 hour. This was a great find!

this is an easy to fly helicopter and great fun I would recommend this to anyone

I Ordered this as a gift for my Son-In law who wants this for Christmas. I did not take it out to fly it but it does look very nice ,was a very good price and it had a good rating. Thank You Overstock for offering Great items at great prices!

I bought this item for my father who recently retired. He really enjoys the helicopter and says that it is realistic. My mom sent me pictures and he was quite happy. However, when I finally saw it, it was a bit smaller than expected.

I bought this for my 12 yr old stepson & he loves it. He's hard on his toys & this hasnt broken yet!! Many hours of play in this heli. Worth the price w/o a doubt.

I had to replace the helicopter ordered for Christmas, but the replacement works well and overstock was professional and timely as always. When the first helicopter didn't work (it wouldn't hold a charge), I offered to buy my nephew something different and he said "no way, I really like the helicopter!" That's a great review from a 12 year old boy who spends most of his money at Gamestop!

Ready to go out of the box. trims easy and controls easy. also can take a crash. I have never been one for rc stuff but I cannot put this thing down, its a lot of fun!

I bought 2 of these for my fiance' and he loves it. He has one for backup pieces if anything happens to the other. Its e z to control once you play with it for a while.
