Waste of Money
The pole is supposed to be tightly wedged between ceiling and floor. Unfortunately, the system is so poorly constructed that it is impossible to get that tight fit. The pole ends are insufficient to make a "suction-like" fit. When you place the bikes on, the pole falls down. No matter how tight you try to set the pole tension, the moment you put the bikes...BOOM. Absolutely the worst!

Good Quality, Bad Design
This is a well-made bike rack. The problem is in the design, the theory of operation. This rack relies on the idea that enough friction will be created between the floor and the ceiling to hold the rack upright when loaded with bikes. Never happen. The weight of even an almost 20lb bike (carbon fiber road bike) on this rack brings it down. And even without the weight of a bike, the rack tends to "walk". So the only way this bike rack is going to work is iof you drill holes in the floor and ceiling into which you will insert the foot and head of the rack.

SWAGMAN is SOLID
This 2-bike hangar stand falls into the category of "instantly well-worth it." High-quality, simple construction with attention to detail. Took minutes to set-up and custom-fit to my room. Really holds both bikes perfectly, (approx.70lbs. of bikes). I have one bike on each side for optimum counter-balance. Love that bar-tilt feature and floor adjust knob. This device is built to last, a great value - just like the good old days. These folks made it right - and for under $*** ? Unbelievable. Thanks.
