This little machine givees my husband a great cardio workout that's hard to get otherwise with his damaged knees. It takes a regular battery, which imakes it super easy to get started using. I recommend a non-skid pad underneath before you get started. Fabulous machine at a great price.Read More

Has helped me regain strength in my arm and shoulder. It's just like have my therapy at home. This unit is easy to move and was easy to assemble.Read More
Wonderful piece of exercise equipment. Sturdy when put on a mat or carpet. EnjoyRead More
not what I expected, but useable. not easy to use on the floor , tends to slide. On the table or desk for arms it is better, but hard to hold.Read More
Of all the strange ways to make a bicyle that will only exercise your right leg, even if you turn it around to change yoour foot to the other side. The right peddle is he only pedal that has any strain on it. So grind it down and exercise your right leg, the other leg goes with no push. Turn it around so t hat your left leg is now on the right pedal. No this will not work as you would have to pull the right pedal back to get any resistance. and that is not possible. So I will have a strong right leg and a weak left one!Read More
I purchased this quite some time ago when I started working from home; I thought I could use it while I sat at my desk. It is very light weight and you can't pedal very fast on it or it starts bouncing. I used this the other day and ended up breaking the tension knob off. It wasn't actually increasing the tension at all, so I kept turning it and the cheap plastic cracked and the knob broke off. So now it is really of no use to me because it pedals far too easily and bounces all over. I thought my elderly mother could use it for arm exercise, but I don't even think it's worth that, so I would not recommend purchasing it.Read More
I purchased the Sunny Mini Cycle because I have a desk job. It is great because I can do some of my work on the computer and cycle, or if I'm reading something. I have not been able to adjust the tension for some reason (it is a manual knob on the back but it doesn't seem to work well), but the movement is smooth and best of all I can feel it in my legs. I would recommend sitting in a recumbent position when using the cycle to avoid lower back stress. Also, it works best well on carpet, but it comes with a little blue mat to put under it for stability and I haven't tried that yet. Overall, it is a cool little gadget.Read More
It works well. I did not have a problem with it slipping on my desktop, and the tension adjustment does adjust the tension. I didn't give it an excellent rating because 1) after I unpacked and assembled with it, I had to fiddle with it to unjam it, and 2) the tension does not adjust to a light enough tension for early physiotherapy needs. But it works fine for my current needs.Read More
Purchased this for my Dad following surgery to maintain the progress he made with therapy. I'm a therapist myself, and very familiar with this type of product. I should have took the previous reviews on a more serious note! Its a nice looking product, but leaves much to be desired for ease of use. The unit was designed for use either on floor or on tabletop, but its hard to manage and lift. Its quite heavy and there isn't a handle to grasp it easier. The "resistance" dial moves but the resistance itself doesn't change. Not a very effective feature for a strengthening piece of equipment. Although my Dad is using it, I'm not gauranteed it's going to assist with his therapy. I should have purchased a better model.Read More

Exercise Bike Buying Guide
When it comes to personal fitness, exercise bikes are one of the most convenient and effective options available. Exercise bicycles, also called indoor bikes or studio cycles, provide a great workout with much less stress on knees and ankles than outdoor exercise. By itself or as part of a home gym, an exercise bike is a great investment in your long-term health. This exercise bike buying guide will help you figure out how to buy a stationary bike that will fit your needs and total fitness goals.
FAQs about Exercise Bikes
Although there are many ways to stay fit in the comfort of your home, exercise bikes are inexpensive options for home exercise equipment. They work your legs while simultaneously giving you a healthy cardiovascular workout; however, not all exercise bikes are created equal. When choosing a stationary bike, consider the type, price and size to find the right one for you.
How to Patch a Bicycle Tire
Riding bikes is a hobby that adults and children share. Cycling provides good exercise, and bicycle commuting is an environmentally friendly way to travel. If you spend any time on a bike, you should know how to change or patch a bike tire so you don't get stranded somewhere.
How to Compare Exercise Bicycles
Exercise bicycles allow you to get a thorough fitness workout without having to leave the house. Because there are so many different exercise bikes available, you will need to weigh your options carefully before picking the one that best fits your exercise routine. From overall size to back support, there are a host of differences among exercise bikes that can determine the one home gym machine that is right for you.
Treadmills vs Elliptical Trainers
New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
How to Exercise on a Trampoline
One way to make exercise more exciting is to exercise on a trampoline. Mini trampolines, or "rebounders," have become a very popular way to work some low-impact aerobic activity into your day. The soft rebound of the trampoline reduces stress on the joints while still working your muscles and lungs. Mini trampolines also let you stay inside while you work out, and they are one of the more affordable pieces of exercise equipment. If you're considering buying a rebounder for exercise, or if you already have one and aren't sure how to use it, keep reading for information on how to exercise on a trampoline.
How to Select an Elliptical Trainer
They help you lose weight and tone your body, but elliptical trainers do it in a way that is less stressful on the joints than stair climbers and treadmills. If you're looking for a great cardiovascular workout that tones your arms and legs and is easy on your joints, an elliptical trainer, also called an elliptical machine or an elliptical cross trainer, may be the way to go. There is no shortage of choices in home elliptical trainers, from gym-style cross-trainers to mini-steppers. Select an elliptical machine based on your goals, your fitness level, your finances and the features you desire in a home gym machine.
