Overall the mini cycle is well worth the money regarding its durability and solid construction. It is sturdy and the tension bar does work. Although it has ample weight to it to keep it from moving around as you pedal, it is very portable and easy . The only fault I found with it was the display and the accuracy of the display. The display did not show the words clear enough to know whether you were counting miles, determining calories burned, miles pedaled, etc. But if you want a piece of equipment that is close to being equivalent to a stationery bike, this is the product. Hopefully they will redesign and make the display better.
This is a great buy for the money. It is very light and can cause movement problems. I added four suction cups on the bottom to help hold it from moving. We use it mostly for the arm exercise.
I have been going to PT for tendonitis in my achilles heel and using a machine that does exactly what this one does, so I thought that by getting this one and using it at home it would help me improve. I must report that it is doing the job. I use it every day and I notice a difference. It also is good for helping get in shape. It is great for people in a small house where there is no room for big machines.
Quality is better than expected. Has all of the features of a full size exercise bike. A plus is that it can also be used for arm exercise, a feature on only a few of the more expensive full size bikes. But, best of all it takes up very little space and can be moved easily from room to room
Very very impressed. Reading the reviews made a huge decision in purchasing this item. So far three other people in my building have purchased this hand cycle. I put a shelf liner to keep it from sliding, this was no big deal for me. I would purchase this item again in a heartbeat.
