I read a lot of reviews on this site, both positive and negative. Since I am short (5'3") I was comfortable with range and understood to tighten everything. It sits half on carpet, half on tile and does not make a noise. It is very stable and I feel I am getting a really good workout. The only think I am unsure of is whether there is truly a change in tension when I use the nob for adjusting. As far as I know we put that together correctly, but is alwayssomething we can check on if we have a day with time on our hands.

You get what you pay for. If you are just starting to exericise, this will be just fine. If you have been exericsing for over a year, this may not be good enough. The tension isn't that great and the movement not that smooth.

The elliptical came within 5 days. It had very understable directions and was together in 30 minutes. It's the perfect size for my den and I get an excellent workout. I highly recommend this machine.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness of this elliptical! Excellent value for the money! The metal tubing is heavy and seems very stable. I'm using it while watching TV and so noise was a big concern for me because I live in an apartment. I'm happy to say it is very quiet! It is also a good size for limited living space. It also moves very easily! I would only recommend it for short people though (I'm 5'3"). Would not be practical for a taller person. I am very glad I made the purchase and I'm enjoying it thoroughly!

we knew we were buying one of the cheapest (if not the most cheap) elliptical when we ordered this one, but I at least expected it to function properly. we got it and the magnetic resistance didn't work at all! my husband (god bless him) threw away the packaging--totally our fault--before we realized that. He was able to rig the magnets to have a medium resistance all the time, but it just kind of stinks that we can't adjust the resistance. its not the most stable machine, but i have it sitting on a pilates mat so that helps with the wobbling. it gets the basic job done. i don't regret buying it, we just wanted something cheap to use inside during the cold winter months! (but of course, it hasn't been cold at all yet)

After reading the reviews I knew that this wouldn't be an excellent product but a bit better than what I received. Installation was pretty easy, however, you cannot install both sets of handlebars the way they are supposed to be installed because the mobile bars rub against the stationary bars removing all the foam covering and then squeaking because it is metal on metal. I wound up just eliminating the stationary bars . Secondly, the peddles rub against the sides of the machine making an awful grinding noise. I ended up having to shave off the side of the peddle that was rubbing and it didn’t completely eliminate the issue but it’s tolerable. The size was perfect for my small apartment and it gets the job done. I do agree with other reviewers that if you are tall to steer away. I am 5’2” and it is perfect but if I were any taller it would be uncomfortable. Overall for the price it isn’t too bad for the product as long as you are prepared to make minor modifications.

This product was a great deal. It was cheaper than a gym membership (on Cyber Monday anyway) and serves its purpose well for someone looking for a quiet, affordable, elliptical for a home gym. This would probably not satisfy advanced fitness buffs, those who have long strides, or those who go nuts and shake themselves around while working out. I'm 5'2" and 120 lbs and have no trouble with it. The stride is on the shorter side but I'm not training for anything - just trying to get fit. And it's working well without paying for a gym membership or waiting in line for an elliptical at a gym. It was easy enough to put together for anyone who has seen an elliptical before and has some common sense.

This came fairly quickly after I ordered it. It is lightweight but that' s what I was looking for. Being 130# and 5'4" it is the perfect size for me and it's light enough for me to easily move it around the room if needed. I would not recommend this for people too much taller as it does not give you a long stride movement of the heavier ones found in fitness centers but it is fine for me. Wasn't hard to put together just had to take the time to make sure I was placing everything as pictured and instructed. Took me about 1 1/2 hours, not rushing. Tension function works well. Great for the price. Would recommend.

Thisisn't the same as an elliptical you'd find at a gym. But for an out-of-shape person, it's a great place to start working out and makes my heartrate go up and wears me out. The tension control doesn't seem to make much of a change when it's turned, so it's pretty much the same wherever it's set. It takes a couple of hours to put together, but isn't that hard to figure out. For the price, it's a good value.

It is a very good trainer, compact enough to temporarily fit in my living room. I'll be moving it upstairs in the den when guests come for the holidays. It's convenient to have . I can just jump on it several times a day for 15 minutes at a time while watching TV. The price is excellent. It did take about 4 hours to assemble. It started to squeak after a day or two, but it was an easy fix with WD-40! No more squeak. I love having something to exercise on in the winter when the weather is sometimes snowy and very cold here in Ohio.

I wanted an elliptical that was about $$$. I had previously owned a $$$ one. There is a huge difference in the quality of the 'ride' and equipment. I'm 5'1" and the stride is okay. I can't imagine it would be comfortable for someone much taller than me. I use the machine at least 3x a week. It is very noisy. After each use I tighten the bolts and screws, I still get squeeking, which is annoying. The reason I bought a smaller machine was to place it in the family room so I could watch TV with them and exercise.

I ordered this item 2 times. The first time I ordered it some of the nuts an bolts did not fit, so I sent it back and got a new one. The second time I put it together and decided to start on my workout. About 30 mins after using the elliptical I began to hear a squeaking and all of a sudden horrible screeching sound. From the awful sound it made, It was clear to me, that the item was already broken. I was very disappointed with this product. Do not waste your time.

I was impressed with how easy it was for me (22 year old not-so-handy) girl to put together. It is of good quality for the money. I was looking for something to use almost everyday, and it seems like it will be good enough for me. Also, I am 5'7" and the stride is just perfect. Nice that it has the heart rate feature on it. Overall, a good purchase for the money.
