Good Basic Weight Set
I had read other reviews which said that it was hard to thread the retaining nut on the bar. I spoke to Overstock and they said that if i did have a problem, they would pay for return shipping, so i decided to take a chance. The weights arrived promptly and were easy to assemble. I had none of the problems I read about in other reviews. For a beginner like me, these are great.

Decent, but poorly designed
These weights are a good deal. However, they are filled with sand, and when my shipment arrived, some of the weights were cracked and sand was leaking out of them. The cracks are fixable with some superglue, but it just shows that these weights are not very well designed and need to be handled carefully.
