  • killer bike for learning

Balance bikes are the way to go when it comes to learning to ride a bike. Forget training wheels and get the young one started with a balance bike. Before you know it, and often by age 3-4, kids will be riding a regular pedal bike without any assistance. Highly recommend.

  • Good introductory

Concept is great if your child plans to spend a great deal of time on it before transitioning to a regular bicycle. Mine never quite got the hang of it completely before he was too tall to ride it comfortably anymore and we are not a tall family. So when he did get a regular bike, he had trouble learning how to push the pedals hard enough for momentum but worse, he always wants to use his feet to stop (Fred flintstone style) when he has brakes on his regular bike. So we are using training wheels and such now.

  • Strider Balance Bike is perfect

I have been looking at Strider Balance bike prices for over a year and when Overstock had them on sale for Cyber Monday, I could not pass up the deal! It was my first purchase from Overstock. The only complaint I have is that the package appeared on our front doorstep and had a huge picture of the bike. So, if this is a gift, have it sent to a family member's home or track your package and meet the delivery man before he spoils the surprise by leaving it on the doorstep. I purchased two Strider Balance Bikes for our two and a half year old girl/boy twins. The twins are about 8 pounds different and the bikes fit each of them perfectly! They love their bikes. They can easily maneuver them, pick them up and they ride on them constantly. Thank you Strider for a great bike.

  • Great bike!!

Fast shipping! This bike was easy to assemble and we had no missing pieces. My 2 year old loves this bike. The best part is that he can ride it and not have the pedals banging off of his shin.

  • Strider

I bought this balance bike for my 2 yr old daughter and she absolutely loves it. On the second day she was already trying to balance on her own. The bike is well built and there are many accessories available for it online. I would definitely recommend getting this bike for a child who is learning to ride.

  • Great bike

Great bike but was shipped in the actual bike box so when the Ups man left it my son saw what was inside. Maybe next Christmas you could cover the box with brown paper.
