The bike arrived and I put it together rather quickly with the exception of my one problem. The directions are easy to understand and if you've ever put anything together before, it shouldnt take but an hour. Now - here's where my review gets nasty......the left pedal wouldnt screw into the pedal arm. I didnt know if it was a stripped pedal or a stripped arm. i tried all the tricks, couldnt get it to go in. I called them and they sent me a new pedal. I couldnt get it to go on. After experimenting more with the right pedal, i determined that the threading in the arm was somehow messed up and my repeated tried to get the pedal to screw in eventually stripped the ends of the pedals as they wouldnt screw into the right arm either. I had already thrown the box away. I didnt want to put togther another bike, so I got my biggest drill bit out and made the hole in the arm big enough for the pedal screw to slide through and then I superglued it in. I couldnt put a bolt on it because the ends stripped from me trying to get it to go in the correct damaged hole. The glue may last because it was kind of a snug fit anyway, but I'm very disappointed.
EASY TO ASSEMBLE...MY HUSBAND HAD IT UP & GOING IN NO TIME. I FEEL AS IF I GET A GOOD WORKOUT FROM IT...YOU CAN ADJUST THE RESISTANCE, WHICH I LIKE. VERY QUITE...REALLY MAKES NO NOISE AT ALL. GOOD QUALITY, STURDY & THE SEAT IS COMFORTABLE. THE NUMBER COUNT ON THE OTHER HAND DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK...AFTER HITTING RESET IT WAS TELLING ME THAT I HAD BURNT 98 CALORIES IN ABOUT 1.5 MINUTES...WHICH SEEMS WRONG TO ME. THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF IT WERE TRUE BUT I DON'T THINK SO. BESIDES THAT I REALLY LIKE IT !!!
I LOVE MY NEW EXERCISE BIKE....VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND REALLY COMFORTABLE TO SIT IN. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO FRIENDS WHO ARE LOOKING TO BUY ONE!!!!!VERY GOOD PRICE TOO!!!!!!
Decent purchase for price. Not as sturdy as a "heavier" bike would be so I would recommend the extended warranty if available at time of purchase. Not bulky, so you can display it in almost in room.
this was a good deal and am looking for better healthy days ahead. overstock.com kept the promise of delivery date and included everything i needed to put the bike together properly.the only thing missing was the instruction manual which i hope to be recieving soon. i definately will come back for future orders. i an glad there is a place to go shop with confidence!
