I had spinal surgery two years ago and lost alot of strenght in my right leg. This is really helping me to rebuild my leg. It really makes you work. This has aided in my leg becoming stronger. I would recommend this to anyone. It really does work. Just use it while watching your favorite program and before you know you have reached a number of steps you never thought you could. Highly recommended. My friend suggest I add a stepper to my fitness routine due to space limitations and my need to multitask. This is a rock solid piece - I love it. I am able to read or use the laptop while exercising. It has helped build core strength, increase muscle tone in my back and legs and add to my bicycle and rower routines. Its easy to move about, takes up hardly any space and is quiet. Great for students or anyone who needs a compact home gym piece. I can estimate seeps, calories burned and progress.

I purchased this stepper because I just love the stepper at the gym, and as a full-time student, mom, and I work 9-5 it's hard to make it to the gym as much as I use to. I thought it would be perfect to get my favorite cardio in at home before I start my day. This stepper is pretty great for beginners I think, but I had problems with it. For someone with a lot of stamina and needs more resistance the mechanics of it don't support that. After the piece that holds it all together popped I called the company and they sent me replacement part immediately. However, only the 3rd time after using it again with the replacement part it happened again. For those who are just looking for something to start off with its probably good for you. As a certified personal trainer myself I would recommend this sort of workout. It's great cardio and its easy on the knees. Hope this was helpful.

well, it turns out you can't change the resistance and the height. soo instead of going through the trouble of returning (you have to go through the manufacturer) i am using it reluctantly. It super high and super hard.

I wanted something small to have available when watching TV and this fits the bill perfectly. I doubt it will make me miraculously get in shape, but is a nice tool to hop on during commercials etc.

love the size of this machine.so easy to put away in a very small space, even fit under the bed.
