The blanket that comes with this seat has a fleece side that is soooo warm and it's water and wind resistant on one side -- but forget about trying to get it packed back into the seat for carrying purposes. I like the fact that you can snap the blanket and wear it as a hands-free snuggly "jacket". The seat is extra thick and cushy. My only complaint is that there is no back support. I have another stadium seat that has no seat cushion, however, you can lean back into the aluminum frame and it provides very good support. This one only has straps for support and you can't lean back into it. So basically it's a glorified seat cushion. I feel a little like I overpaid for this product, but I will keep the bright orange blanket (my son's school colors are orange and black) and probably give the seat to my sister.
