Our 4 year old's bedroom can get a bit chilly, and he still kicks off his blankets in his sleep, so we bought him this sleeping bag to keep him warm. It seems to be doing the trick, and he likes it. It also seems substantial and well-constructed. The nylon is nice and shiny and the pattern inside is a traditional camping pattern. For the price, this was the bag to get. We're happy.
my daughter's daycare requires every kids bring their own sleeping bag for nap. and the sleeping bag is sent home every Friday for wash. My previous sleeping bag is not cozy (doesn't have fleece linen), and after several wash, the cover was ripped. This one looks good and feels good, my daughter and I love it. I am not sure about the durability so far, so I give it a 4 stars. But other than that everything else is perfect.
I ordered this for my 2 year old daughter's nap time and for taking on overnights to Grandma's house. I liked the flannel lining which is much more cozy than some of the other bags. It is well constructed and nicely padded especially for the price. I wish it looked a little more kid- like or even more simple since the camping pattern on the inside is a bit dull for a 2 year old. However, she loves it and is sleeping well for her naps now. It is nicer than the ones at the local stores for about the same price.
We have only had the opportunity to use this bag during one night of camping since receiving it. My son loved the 'mummy' style of this bag and was happy with the way the inside fabric felt. He can be particular about how a fabric 'feels' on his skin. It was very chilly overnight and he did not once complain of being cold. I was in a 40 degree rated bag and woke up cold several times during the night. I would feel confident having him use this bag on future camping trips.
