  Appears to be built well for the price, but I could not use it as it has no eye relief whatsoever. I had to have my eye literally jammed up against the glass to see anything at 20x. At higher zoom the view turned into a pinhole even with my cornea almost touching the lens.. Can't imagine using this with glasses. I ended up returning it since my example was not usable.

  Very nice construction. Carry case and tripod of good quality. Very strong zoom and clear lenses, you can see clearly at a long distance. Works for what I bought it for, and that's for sighting in targets at the gun range.

  I have several Barska products and find all of them to be of excellent quality. They are not necessarily "inexpensive", but they are affordable and provide excellent value for the money. There are certainly many optics available, at much higher prices, but is it always necessary to purchase something because of its higher price? Doesn't necessarily make it any better, just more costly.

  I bought this scope to align two radio antennas 1.5 miles apart. It worked very well. Now I plan to use it for stargazing.

  i have been all over hunting scouting and taking pictures with several different scopes over the past twenty years, i am dissapointed with its overall dimentions, its just too big and its not waterproof whatsoever, the suplied tripod is junk but that's no biggy, as far as the performace i am pleased, took it out day one to play with it sitting on top of a ridge line looking out to other ridges, can see very clearly for miles, i am happy. i watched an active logging unit out at about the 3 mile range and could read almost all the lettering and numbering on all of the equipment with ease. i have also done some star gazing just to further test it out and for that it is fair. now even though i am very dissapointed with the fact that it is not waterproof and am not happy with its large dimintions, i am happy enough with its performance and light weight that i will be packing this scope with me for many excursions to come, is it the best out there, no it is not, is it the best that you can g...
