Appears to be built well for the price, but I could not use it as it has no eye relief whatsoever. I had to have my eye literally jammed up against the glass to see anything at 20x. At higher zoom the view turned into a pinhole even with my cornea almost touching the lens.. Can't imagine using this with glasses. I ended up returning it since my example was not usable.

    Good Scope for Price

This is a good scope for a cheap price. The quality and workmanship arenot equal to leopold , or other high value scopes but then again the price is a lot cheaper. My scope has a minor defect as the front scope cap latch was broken. Not enough to send it back or complain about, but you get what you pay for. I use this scope at the 100, 300, and 600 meter firing range with good results.

An okay scope; good for the price.

Heavier than I expected. The tiny, flimsy tripod that came with it (unexpected) was a joke as there is no way you could successfuly use this heavy scope on it. Fortunately, it was to replace a scope so I already had a practical tripod. Not as clear of vision as I would have liked. Should have looked at some in person before buying online. As mentioned above, the brochure that came with it was for a totally different scope so didn't have any instructive info with it, but I was able to figure it out pretty quickly, since I already used a scope. Was shipped loose with the box inside a box witout any padding but arrived in perfect condition.

  • Barska Spotting Scope Better Than Expected

I was a little leery about buying the Barska 11-33X50 WP Tactical Spotting Scope as I have had bad luck with Barska products in the past (most notably a Barska SKS Scope I recently reviewed on Overstock). However, for training purposes I require a Spotting Scope with a MILDOT reticle. I had a Bushnell Excursion with MILDOT reticle backordered for more than two (2) months with a Overstock competitor with the "expected date of arrival" repeatedly being pushed back. When the earthquake and subsequent events struck Japan I canceled the backordered item and took my chance with this Barska. I have had this item over a month. I volunteer at a local shooting complex and take this scope with me each time I go there. I "loan" it out to others that do not have spotting equipment and have not had any complaints yet from others. I have used it out to ranges of 400 yards. I can clearly see .308 impacts at 300 yards with this spotting scope and just barely see the impacts at 400 yards (...

  • It works, but......

You get what you pay for. If your looking for a scope that will work for 100 yards, this will work. However, if your picky then you will find faults with this scope. It has almost no eye relief when wearing glasses and you will need to get a different stand. But if you are looking for a cheap scope to help you out at 100 yards this might satisfy you.
