This is perfect for people who are about 2 feet tall. Bigger than that? Forget it.

Used this shovel in the Uinta Mountains of Utah on 6/15/2011 while Snowmobiling, worked great to bust some solid snow early in the AM. Fits perfect in a Backpack, should work great for Snowboarding as well. I will leave it in the trunk of the car as it is very small and will come in handy in winter or anytime for that matter! Love the handle extends as my last one I lost did not and it cost more than this one did.

The is the second time that I use this shovel since there were only two big snow storms in NYC for 2010 that requires me to shove. This shovel is light weight and sturdy enough to compete with the big boys. The only thing is the handle is just a bit short so you would need to bend down a little lower to get better leverage. I have not yet use this shovel in icey snow yet because I did not want to wait until the powder snow turning to ice if I can help it. If you live in the city then this is an ideal shovel to have because of the compact size for easy storage.

I had been procrastinating on buying a compact shovel to use for removing the snow around my car and one that I could stow away in the car trunk that did not take up too much space But it also needed to be sturdy! Yes, I had some strict criteria that had to be met and so far it looks like this model will meet them all. This is highly unusual in any situation but it seems that this shovel will meet the challenge without a whimper. I'm still awaiting the next major snowfall to put it to the test but I know quality when I see it and this shovel "has it in spades".............get it????????????

I live in an apartment and just needed a small shovel to scoop my patio off when it snows. This is perfect for that small job. It is light weight but sturdy and scoops even crusted snow easily. I would recommend it also for use in your auto for when you get stuck and need to shovel your tires out. Priced perfectly as it is not too expensive for these small jobs but the results are priceless.

My first snow shovel so nothing to compare it to but happy with my purchase. The first day I used it on soft snow and it worked fine. Later that day it rained so the next day the snow was hard, icy and VERY hard to near impossible to shovel through. The shovel stood up to the abuse without cracking.

Very good shovel to have in your car or truck,breaksdown to a small compact size so it will fit in your trunk or truck box.

I bought 2 of these shovels since my almost 8 year old daughter wants to "help shovel the car from a mound of snow," which has not happened yet this winter in NYC -- only had 2 inches so far.
