    I bought this as a possible alternate to ny SkyCaddie, with which I have had constant problems. I'd say that the Sonocaddie is a disappointment vis a vis the pictures in the advertisement. Small, not bright scfreen. It's an adequate device, but not great

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The screen display is not really bright enough to be esily read in the sun

Just a couple of questions: 1.) If a course I play is not one of the pre-loaded courses, can it be added by downloading from the internet? Is there a charge for this download? 2.) Answer This Question
1) If your course is not preloaded upon receipt and is available as a new edition on the course database, that download is always 'no charge' to add to the unit using ypur Free Par membership and the Sonocaddie software installed on your computer. Additional courses may be added free for the life of the product in the same Basic Icon View shown right out of the box and at no charge as well. 2) The unit is water resistant with rating of IPX3 3) There are no yearly fees with any Sonocaddie. Par Membership is free for life and there are two upgraded options, both of them are once-per-lifetime only fee of $29.95 or $49.95 for additional course views including full color layout and satellite imagery.
