Does everything as advertised. Set up was a breeze. Downloading courses was simple. On the course it is very user friendly. The scorecard and round analysis are great features. You can even compare multiple rounds and note trends in your game. The best feature in my opinion is the edit feature. Yardage not exact? Change it! Feature not marked on a hole? Mark it! Favorite yardage you like to lay up to? Mark that too! You can really customize it to fit your game!

The Color screen is amazing, and it shows the entire hole just as it is. If the hole doglegs right with a pond on the left and a tree in the middle thats what the Sonocaddie shows on the color screen. You get 5 courses downloaded for free without a subscription. You can also edit the Sonocaddie if you want to add or delete hazards. It will knock strokes off your game.

I purchased this golf gps because many courses don't have easy to find or accurate yardage markers.After receiving it I downloaded my course and went out to verify the accuracy. I was pleased to find that it did what I was looking for.I was also pleased to find so many courses downloadable and no annual fees

I bought this for my husband and he loves it! He golfs anywhere from 2-3 times a week and it has helped him in his distance shots. It is very easy to download the golf courses.

So far I have been pleased with my sonocaddie. Because I live in the Northeast. The weather has not been good. So I have not been able to go to a course and try the functions of the gps. The ease of downloading courses has been quite easy. The customer service has been excellent. If a course is not available it is easy to add. So far I have been pleased. If it works as I expect it to. I am sure I'll be happy.

The graphics on this Golf GPS are far bettter than I expected. The 'one time' fee for setup was noting for the service you get from Sonocaddie. The software was very easy to install and setup. Downloading all my favorite courses was a snap. I have used it along with the GPS on the cart and find that it is very accurate. The little person figure that run along the fairway is amusing also. It also keeps your score and adds it up for you. When you are finished with the round, you just plug it into the computer and all the information is there for you to review. I would recommend this device to everyone. Aslo, the price at Overstock.com was the best I found after much research.

Got mine for Christmas last year and absolutely love it. Never had any problems with it freezing up. Has a great battery life. The one time subscription fee was worth it. Ease of downloads from computer are almost instant. I love the ability to mark my drives to check my distances off the tee. I have only found one course in Oregon that I sometimes play that is not yet available but if I email the course layout and a scorecard, Sonocaddie will get it up loaded within about 2 weeks! Highly recommend!

I received the Sonocaddie V300 as a gift for Father's Day from my wife. What a great surprise! I find it easy to use and very accurate on the courses I've played so far. It's full featured with 3-D graphics and it allows you to edit course markings and add critical distances, which are features I really like. When I emailed Sonocaddie, they were very responsive to adding my home course's score card.

This item came with a disc to access Sonocaddie and download courses. I had difficulty with this because the program was old. After back and forth effort with Sonocaddie and AOL, I was able to install the program. I downloaded 12 courses but my unit read the same yardage for all of the courses and for all of the holes. I contacted Overstock customer and was quickly assisted with returning the Sonocaddie. I will say that Overstock said this was an isolated incident. However, be sure to check this out before the expiration date to return.
