A good backpack for a dayhike or a light weekend. The two zip-up pockets on the waist strap are very useful for handy items such as snacks and camera. Two large mesh pockets on either side of the exterior are good for water bottles and cooking supplies. However, the internal 'frame' is very flimzy and the air wick mesh on the back is completely ineffective. After a few hours hiking in 60 degree weather my back was soaked with sweat. Overall, the pack is fairly small with only a few pockets and small side straps, but for the price it's not a bad deal.
