All I need is the snow
Have never had snowshoes before - read previous reviews & chose these because they are recommended for recreational snow shoeing. What little snow we got this year in southwest Colorado was gone before I could open the package! Here's hoping for at least one good snowfall before summer. Love Overstock - the free shipping for Club O members is a lifesaver.

Good value snow shoe
I ordered the size 25 and the size 30 for my husband. We have only used them once but they did great. Initially, the buckles were a bit cumbersome to get set up but feel it will be easier the next time. If someone else borrows them then repositioning the buckles might be a pain. One of my baskets came off of the pole but was able to find it when I back tracked. Make sure they are screwed all of the way on before use. We used these on new snow without trails.

I am new to snowshoeing this winter, and hope to be doing much more winter sports than in past seasons, so this was my first purchase of my own equipment. Now I no longer have to rent-YEA! This kit is perfect for beginners AND beyond, as it compares quite favorably with other equipment I looked at, and is much superior to buying everything separately.
