Great Buy, Great Product
I had been searching for quite some type online for the best deal on a salt shield for my trailer. As many of you know, they are expensive and very expensive to ship. After months of searching, I stumbled across the best deal here. Best price AND FREE SHIPPING!!! The brand name of the shield is Raider, which is a very high quality item. My package arrived very fast, well packaged, and included everything I needed to install for the most part which I will describe in the next paragraph. I mounted my salt shield on a twin axle utility trailer. I wanted to mount it permanent, so I side stepped the instructions a little and added some extra screws to the deck. As for the size of trailers this shield fits on, it will mount to ANY trailer. It actually comes in three pieces, so you can make it pretty much as narrow or wide as you want. It actually will go smaller then the description says. My trailer is narrower then what the description says and I had no problem installing it. It is a very rugged, well built salt shield. This product is as nice as any of the other companies who manufacture them. As for mounting it permanent, like I said, I just added some extra screws along the bottom straight to the deck. This shield will also be nice not only in the winter hauling snowmobiles, but, I also have a Kubota tractor I haul on the trailer and this will help keep rocks, dirt, rain spash, and other debris off the items you are hauling. Again, I highly recommend this product and I praise Overstock.com for the great price, free shipping, ease in ordering, and rapid delivery time!! I would most definetly purchase again!! All around a Great Experiance!!!!
