As advertised.
Very nice for sun and presumably mosquito protection. Have used this item on several hiking trips. Item is fine for fishing too except it does not have a strap to hold it on to your head - so boating enthusiasts beware.

Too much hat
Summertime is when the bugs are unbearable but also when the temps are most humid. The mesh made for heat discomfort & also limited visibility during time when I most need to be alert to bear cubs & other wildlife I can't have dog pulling after during our daybreak walks.

Boonie Hat
I got this for my brother who is an avid fisherman in Florida. He loves it! He told me that it fits him well and he likes the netting. Keeping mosquitos at bay is very difficult be he said this hat is very helpful!
