These socks are great if you like holes in the heels. They keep your feet really warm, but the by the end of the VERY FIRST DAY I wore them, the right heel already had worn through. And I didn't even wear them hiking, just regular use. I could not believe that after ONE SINGLE DAY of use they already had a hole. I may as well throw them in the trash now. I should have bought socks at the dollar store instead since they are disposable quality. Very dissatisfied.

When i ordered these socks i went with the sizing recommended on the site for my feet. when they arrived the socks felt huge, so i e-mail Smart Socks, and received a phone call the following morning and e-mail, i returned the socks to the company and had my new perfect fitting replacements within a weeks. comfortable socks, fantastic customer service, would definitely recommend.

My job requires me to be on my feet a lot. After 36 years, sometimes my feet hurt at the end of the day. When I wear these socks, there is no pain or swelling at the end of the shift. I would recommend these socks to anyone who needs to save there feet.

I bought these for my husband whose always taking our son to his winter soccer practices. These are many times outdoors and my husband's feet get ice cold. These socks have helped him a lot. Two thumbs or big twos up :)!!!!

It's been a cold winter, but these socks have kept my feet warm while I'm out showeling snow, or walking dogs. And they have just the right amount of "staying up" power; they neither slump nor cut off my circulation! Highly recommended.

I purchased these socks as an alternative to the Smart Wool brand because that brand is rather pricey. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these hiking socks. Although I don't used them to hike, I do wear them with heavier shoes and so the cushioning is excellent. I've washed each pair at least twice so there doesn't seem to be any problems running them through the washer. Wish they came in black.
