  I have wide feet, so these worked great. Not as beautiful as my white figure skates, but very comfortable!!

  When getting them (bought two pairs-twins), was told these are higher quality for a 'cheap' skate, especially since they will probably get only one season of use from them

  Ordered these for my almost 12-yr. old daughter. I can't keep her out of them! They are her first pair and she has had no trouble adapting to them, loves the smooth ride and ease of use. The adjustable sizing is perfect for a growing girl; you simply push a button and slide the boot forward or back to the size desired (though, unlike my son's skates which do the same, this pair does not clearly mark whether you are at a size 6 or 7, etc. which is the only reason I rated 'Good' instead of 'Excellent'). My daughter absolutely loves her skates and they do give a quieter, smoother ride than her younger brother's inline skates. I can fit into these, too, and have tried them on and found them comfortable (I've considered buying a pair for myself!). One of the best purchases I have made for my girl!

  Overstock and/or the manufacturer could have done a much better job describing this item. First of all, the sizing is way, way off. In fact, the sizing is really for men; although this is a woman's skate. I wear a 10, ordered a 9 (because of other reviews) and it was still too big, even with 2 pair of socks. Regardless of the size, they would probably always be too big because they are so wide. Additionally, Overstock doesn't say anything about the blades needing to be sharpened. When I got them, they appeared sharp, so I thought all was o.k. Disaster on the ice re: trying to skate with them. These do have the potential to be comfortable skates, if the sizing issues coudl be addressed.

  I waited too long before ordering these skates because I typically like to break them in slowly since I don’t bake skates anymore. My old Tours were starting to pull off the frame. I skated with these the first day I got them and have since. I’m very happy with them and the wheels are the best which is one reason I went with this boot. The tongue is much longer on this model and I like that a lot as well, they got way too short previously. Awesome skate at an awesome price. Not only that I paid not tax and standard shipping was only a few bucks. Even better than that was they were here within 3 days and that was normal ground. I doubt this will be my last purchase from Overstock, but it was my first.
