I bought this item for my nephew and I liked the fact that they came in a zipper bag, the quality is great there durable and can be used for indoor and out. I like the fact they won't grow out of them for a wile and that there so easy to put on and off, no shoelaces are great to and they will not be bulky in the closet.

I bought three pairs of these Street Gliderz shoe skates for three (lucky) kids in my life, and the gift was very well received. My nephew had them on and skated around my apartment in a blink. The two girls really liked them very much. I think the best advantage is being able to use these with your own shoes, not a one-piece combination of a shoe that doesn't fit right but is desirable primarily for the built in skate. This product is a great alternative. It's adjustable and comes with its own torx key, so you can make it fit quite well. And the price on Overstock was about half of what it was when I saw it on one of the "deal-a-day" sites. Thank you, Overstock.

Keep in mind these are the Street Glider Mini's not the Street Gliderz Originals. Both work just as great, these are just for younger kids. They don't hold as much support as the Originals. These are great for beginners since the bearing does not allow to roll as smooth as the higher end ones.

I got these for my 5 year old. But, it says for ages 8 and up on the instructions. But he loved using them and with the proper safety gear he didn't get hurt when falling down. Good buy and better than the wheely shoes b/c they won't grow out of them.
