I read other reviews about the case being to small. I looked at the measurements of the case, and thought surely it would be just long enough for my AR-15's. They both have telescopic stocks and the shortest barrel's the law will allow. They barely fit. They fit diagonal, but not staight accross as I would have liked. These cases would be good for AR pistols, MP5's, and other small submachine guns. The cases seemed cheap, but they will serve their purpose. Hope this review keeps all y'all from trying to stuff even a short rifle in as I did...

I am a military officer with plenty of experience with weapons, cases, and travel. Bottom line up front: these are decent quality, no frills cases, which will protect an assault rifle-sized weapon (or just about anything else that size) capably. I bought 2 of these to transport Airsoft rifles (MP-40 and M4) (M-4 would fit with stock extended or collapsed). Will NOT fit a full-sized rifle. Both flew commercial air a couple times and banged around in several car trunks/truck beds. Some cosmetic damage, but protected contents well. No ability to TSA lock, so I bought 2 TSA strap locks to secure them.

Great case. a little to small for my rifle but protects it very will.

I purchased this case for transporting sensitive electronic equipment. The case works perfectly for my requirements. The case is built very well and the price was reasonable.

I needed a case for my Auto Ordanice TA5 Tommy Gun Pistol, 100 round drum magazine, 50 round drum magazine, stick magazines and extra ammo. This case fit perfectly. I was surprised by the value. After reviewing several options I chose this one because it was less than half the price of similar cases. I plan to buy two more.

A great hard case for the money. It fit my GSG-5 perfectly as long as I put it in a 45 degree angle. Learned that from another review of this case on Overstock. Would have given it 5 overall stars if it was just one inch longer. Just a personal problem!

Great case for tactical rifles, Provided they are under 31.5'' in legth. My AR-15 fit well, with the mag inserted and red dot scope attached. Also had plenty of room for extra mags & gear.Great Buy!

This is a great case if you own an AR15 w/ collapsible stock. It just fits if you lay it straight, I have an eotech sight and there is no issue.

I bought this for a CQB Rifle with a 10.5" barrel and it fits perfectly.Good quality for the price.

I purchased this case for another person. It works great as a take-down weapon carrier. It is just a tad bit short for carbine use, but perfect for the AR-15. Makes handling the weapon much easier and much more protective for storage and travel.

Overall, this is a very good bargain compared to what I've seen in sporting goods stores. As some other commented it is a bit short for most carbines. However, I bought it for my GSG-5 carbine (w/collapsable stock) and it functions great! It will accommodate the carbine and additional parts, sling, manual, etc. You can also use it to carry the GSG-5 carbine with the conventional stock ... if you place the rifle at an angle.

I thought this thing would fit my mp5 clone with room to spare but I was wrong. It did fit but diagonally with not a mm to spare. This was because my mp5 clone did not have a adjustable stock and had a fixed compensator attached to it. Without those, it would definitely fit nicely. Also has room for my spare clips, ammo, red dot, and rail. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that has anything less than 31.5". I would like to try my AK underfolder in my next case that I purchase. I'm definitely looking forward to that. Bottomline: looks great, works great, decent amount of room depending on what you're putting in it. I would/will buy another.

this product by far exceeds what I was looking at in retail stores for alot more cost. It is perfect for the rifle I purchased it for. I am very pleased with it. Good looking too.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a super case to store and carry a collapsible rifle or a rifle that can change barrels. Therefore you carry all with you to the field.

I bought this assault rifle case for my 9mm Carbine w/ scope. The OAL of the carbine is 31 1/2", so it fits the case perfectly with room to spare. I don't plan on flying with it, but use it as a storage and transportation case. it will be perfect. The case is built well,foam is well secured inside with good support. No way the carbine will slide around. I definely will buy another case if the need arises.

This can't actually hold a riffle can it? I bought it for a Christmas present for someone, but I am embarrassed to give it to them after receiving it. I don't think he owns even a bee bee gun short enough to fit in this case.

Good construction and looks great, It could have been a little longer but fits the gun I purchased it for. Will probably get several more in the near future for other guns I have.

Good solid case. Packed well for shipment. Recomended.

This is only good for transporting pistols or toys. Not sure what size "Assault Rifle" was intended for this case? Miniture, I suppose. Save your money.
