This is a good sight, just be carefull how it's mounted. Mounted over the chamber on a 30-06 or larger will destroy the sight, it will simply disentagrate. Mount it as far from the chamber on high power rifles as you can. Use lock-tight on the mount screws then tighten the mount screws to 5-10lbs. Mine is mounted over the bolt handle on a Rem 700 it just clears the bolt and spent rounds, works fine there with no problems at all. I have a second on a 12 ga shotgun with no problems. A third works great on my 12 Inch telescope as a rough aim sight for the co-ax tracking scope. Good inexpesive sight.

I purchsed this for my husband as part of an anniversary gift to go with his new Ak 47. He is VERY happy with the ese of use! He has not had a chance to use it yet but he loves it!
