    This is a good motor. If you have a full boat and you're fighting a current, you may lose. i recommend having a second charged battery,

  • Good little motor.

    This little motor is an excellent choice for using just to get to the "right spot". I did find that it was a little sluggish if the weight in the boat is not distributed just exactly right and I don't think it would work on anything but an inflatable boat. But all in all, great for the price and what I wanted it for. I would recommend this product.

The Coleman / Stearns trolling motor, model # 2000004144 has 18 pounds of thrust. As there are several variables to be considered when choosing a trolling motor, for the most accurate answer to the question below, I would suggest the you contact the manufacturer of your canoe for recommendation on which trolling motor is best suited for use with your specific model. This item to mounts transom or boat eyelets (if equipped), it can also be mounted to the bow if the boat is equipped with bow eyelets. It depends on the car batter on if it can be used.
