Can you sit in this without seats? I've never been in a kayak or boat! Do you just get in and push off? I would like to take my 6yr old with me, can we all just sit in on the bottom?
We ordered two kayaks and the first one was very quick to arrive. That was quite surprising, coming all the way from America to Australia. It is true, this is no toy, but a serious boat. We have been at sea with it, we have been on a lake with it It's easy to row, comfortable to be in. We enoyed it very much. Because we had the first one so quickly, we used it ,with the two of us in one kayak. Very comfortable, we could even store yabbie pots! The only flaw was the pump. Both pumps missed the crucial part, the bit that fits in the valve. Luckily we had an old pump that did the job. Blowing up is easy. When we contacted the company, their response was instant and satisfactory, they gave us a refund to buy another pump here. When we tried to find out where the other one was, it was easy to follow its trail after the info we got. All in all we're very happy. Hope to use them quite a lot....

Very happy with this product. Fit my boyfriend and I comfortably. It was quick and easy to inflate once we got to the lake, a great option for people who have smaller cars to have a kayak. I would highly recommend this.Read More
This was a great choice for me. Being a single women, I was able to easily inflate the Kayak using the foot pump. I was out on the Lake within thirty minutes. Did not have any problems. Another Great Order from Overstock. Oh....I bought two more for gifts!Read More
It inflates nicely and looks just like the photo but our teenage sons had trouble keeping it straight. They think it needs a more substantial keel, or a fin on the bottom to keep it going straighter. They didn't think this would be a problem if you're going down a river, but is a bigger one on a still body of water. I wrote that I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, but I wish there was a "maybe" category because others might not have this problem.Read More
We already used on lakes and rivers and picnics and trips. A great product, I'm so happy we purchased!Read More

Kayak Fact Sheet
Kayaks were created by Inuit people many years ago to assist them with hunting and fishing. Since their creation, kayaks have evolved and are now used for more than just hunting and fishing. They are used worldwide for recreational and sport boats as well. Because of the large variety of styles that are available these days, shopping for a kayak can be difficult. You may want to review the following fact sheet to assist you in your search.
Tips on Buying Kayaks
When buying a kayak, keep in mind two things: your level of expertise and the type of paddling you expect to do. Many kayaks are designed for a specific type of paddling and will perform best under those circumstances. Recreational kayaks, for example, are intended mostly for leisurely paddles outdoors, as a small boat might be, and will not be suitable for long-distance ocean trips. As you shop for a kayak, look at several different models before choosing the one that is right for you.

How to Choose Sheets for an Inflatable Mattress
An inflatable mattress is indispensible as extra bedroom furniture when you have houseguests or as a comfortable resting place when you're enjoying the great outdoors (from the safety of a tent). To make your air bed even more appealing, make sure you treat it like a regular bed; an inflatable mattress will benefit from luxurious sheets as much as any other mattress. Choose the right sheets for your bedroom furniture and treat your guests to an inflatable mattress experience they'll never forget.
Self-inflating Sleeping Pad Fact Sheet
Whether you're back-country camping or sleeping in a tent in a campground, you can stay warmer and more comfortable when you stretch out on a Self-inflating sleeping pad. Think of Self-inflating sleeping pads as miniature airbeds. They give you some insulation from the cold ground and give your body something a little softer to rest on. They're not all the same, though, so consider some key factors before you choose one.

What to Know about Air Mattresses
Don't let a lack of sleeping space keep you from hosting house guests, and don't let fear of discomfort keep you from choosing an air mattress. Air beds have come a long way from the saggy versions pictured in movies; cots and airbeds are a great solution to the issue of uncomfortable camping and inflatable air mattresses can make a long night an adventure instead of a hardship.
How to Travel with an Air Mattress
Packing a portable air mattress can be a lifesaver next time you're on a vacation. Whether traveling alone or making it a family affair, bringing an air bed can save you money during a hotel stay or provide a comfortable night's rest on camping expeditions. Although some may worry about traveling with a bulky inflatable mattress, you have nothing to fear. Air mattresses take up little space in the car during long road trips and can even be folded small enough to pack in your suitcase or carry-on. Whether you plan on sleeping under the stars or crashing on the floor of a friend's house, this guide will help you figure out how to travel with an air mattress.
Best Sleeping Pads to Use with Sleeping Bags
If you dislike sleeping on the cold, hard ground, a sleeping pad underneath your sleeping bag can really save you a night of discomfort. A sleeping pad is also essential for keeping your sleeping bag protected when you're roughing it. When you're packing up your sleeping bag, tent and other camping gear, don't forget a sleeping pad to keep you comfortable in the great outdoors. There are three basic types of sleeping pads available for use with sleeping bags: air mattresses,, foam pads and self-inflating pads. The type of pad you'll need depends on what kind of camping you'll be doing and how much padding you prefer.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.

How to Choose a Wetsuit
For many water sports enthusiasts, choosing a wetsuit is central to how much they will enjoy their chosen pursuit. For water sports such as water skiing, surfing, and scuba diving, the wetsuit is the sole means of staying warm during prolonged exposure to cold waters. Choosing a wetsuit that is the wrong thickness or the wrong size will lessen the wetsuit's ability to keep you warm, so it's important to get the selection process right.
