Stamina Conversion II Recumbent Bike/ Rower
Compare: Feb 10, 2012
trishe43 from Buffalo MN, Rating:5.0I was looking for affordable rowing machine....and this one was perfect. My husband put it together....but I could of done it....just didn't want to. I have a bad shoulder...so I don't use my arms to pull hard at end....it stores standing up...I wish it fit under my bed, but oh well. The "only" bad thing....stupid foot straps are a pain....they were made for people with huge feet...I'm a size 6....but I make it work. Great machine other then that.

peajay1964 from California, Rating:5.0I'm really pleased with this rowing machine. I'm a strong girl, but I'm out of shape, so I have the arms set to the lowest setting. BUT, I can stick with this exercise long enough to raise my heart rate and get a good workout, which is priceless. You can leave the rower parallel to the ground for a good ab workout (as you have to pull yourself back to the starting point) or raise it up to a slant which gives your legs the workout of pushing. The movement of the arms is smooth and easy. It's VERY quiet and I easily row while watching TV. I'm satisifed with my purchase. Good value for the money, definitely.

kencurtis from Yucaipa, CA, Rating:4.0An good exercise machine for the price. Fairly light weight and easy to use - stores nicely. Uses a piston with adjustable resistance to create resistance levels for rowing, which works pretty well. The only down side is that once the piston heats up (after a couple of minutes - which is normal) it loses some of its resistance, so you can't maintain the same level of difficulty through out the exercise session that you started with. That being said, it is a good machine for a basic workout. If maintaining high levels of resistance for longer workouts is a priority though, a rowing machine that uses a different way to create resistance might be worth thinking about.

iheartrowing from Cleveland, OH, Rating:5.0The user who wrote the review before mine clearly doesn't realize that 1 is the hardest setting. Start on 5. :) That's the beginners setting. I've had this rower for almost a year, and I use it every other day. I love the workout it gives me. I put on my ipod and go. It counts calories, rows, etc. Love it. For the money, it's a fantastic buy!
